how many drops in brand new carto?

Im able to get 20 drops into a carto before it pools..

Is that about right?

If so how long can I expect it to last on these 20 drops before it needs a top off?

Gimme an empty highway at 6am and my Ducati tank will last 20 minutes or so...gimme a filled highway at noon and my Ducati tank will last 4 hrs!

Brand new empty carto will take quite a few drops.
But the amount will vary, depending on the filler material.
I usually don't count the drops, but quit when it starts to puddle up.
Then I'll top it off after it has had time to sit and soak.

It really depends on the brand and size of carto. What brand and size carto are you using?

It must be twenty drops, approx 1ml for the standard boge carto(3/8 diameter x 1.25" long), just top them off when they lose a bit of flavor or give a drier hit

Im using a 3.0 boge carto. Yep, im pretty sure I filled it up with 20 drops initially, but I find im topping off faster than i should be, almost as much as a regular cart. Every 10 puffs or so i put in a couple drops...

...what voltage are you vaping...the higher the voltage, the higher the wattage which translates to more juice used...std Boges hold 1ml(give or take) and if you have an accurate dropper, that is approx 20 drops...the bottles I use have smaller drops and the Boges hold about 30 of them...about every hour of vape time, I drip 10-15 drops, so I figure, if needed, I can get around 2hrs out of a carto(I try not to go that far)...this is with vaping 5ml/day on 3.7vbatts(E-Power)............

I think any carto starts to get clogged with flavoring sediment from first use and just gradually gets worse until the draw tightens up and adding one or two drops results in one or two drops leaking out the battery connection. I just filled one of my boges with unflavored nic just to see how much different it is for longevity, there are posts that say you can get a month or more on unflavored juice

Refilling at 5ml a day?? I gotta top off every 20 minutes or so at like 3 ml a day!! I'm doing something wrong I think.

When do you know it's time to top off??

...whenever the taste starts getting "dry" r "cottony" tasting is the basic answer...in actual use, I just top up every hour rSo regardless of the taste......

that was my thought also. you dont have to drop into it until you start getting slightly different/off taste. i typically refill my cartos every 30 mins to an hour, depending on how much i vape.

you get about a ml of liquid into an empty reg size carto (20-30 drops,depending on the size of the end piece of the bottle)

if you vape 4ml a day you should be fine refilling it about 5 times a day. once you get used to using a carto you WILL know when its time to refill.
