How many people have you directly help quit smoking by introducing them to vaping?

1 1/12 for me at work so far. the 1/2 switches back and forth from the subox/STmini I PIFed him to analogs. I just picked up a CLTank for him (black Friday deal) cuz he sat on the STmini. Hopefully soon he'll be a full convert. I have really tried with my fiance, but she cannot seem to stick to any setup I have arranged to date.

7 totally changed over so far, and have 4 current dual users working their way toward 100% vaping only. That's why I keep a variety of new starter kits/set-ups on hand when I find really great deals on them. I show/explain the differences in each set-up, how they each work, coil differences & costs, and they choose what they think is the most comfortable, a size they like, color, shape, style, etc. for them. I also start them off with 15-20mL of 1 of my DIY eliquids that they choose, after trying about 5-6 of them.

After trying vaping a few days or more...if they decide they like vaping and definitely want to stick with it...they pay me exactly what I paid for the set-up, and they get a free 30mL bottle of my DIY eliquid. I also let them know that if/when they want a new set-up, tank, more coils, etc., that as long as they're still not smoking...I'll either have already or will find for them, the best deal on whatever they need or want.

Has worked well so far, doing it that way. Have had only 1 so far that decided it wasn't the right time for her to try to switch from smoking (too many stressful family things to deal with right then). Said she'd definitely like to try again though in thee near future. Wants to quit for herself and so she doesn't smell like an ashtray any more, especially when her grandkids visit.

Directly, 3 1/2. Two co-workers, my wife's grandmother, and I'm still working on my wife though there's a lot going on there besides just the smoking.

I vape openly most times just to let people know there's something better than smoking out there. Sometimes I accost if I have them trapped and have their attention. Like the poor plumber that was trying to discuss the final bill at the house.

Gotta snag some Vivi Novas or something on the cheap, cartomisers don't cut it for a give away.

I'll take 100% of the credit for converting one smoker besides myself and part of the credit for some more. I stand with the smokers at work. Over months that has an impact. It normalizes vaping. Then, from time to time, a smoker will get sick of the habit and start asking questions and I'm always patient and helpful. An argument I use is the money I've saved. Another is that vaping eventually becomes a superior experience and the chance of relapse can go to zero. If government would stop being pigs an support switching it would be much easier.

Wife, daughter, daughters fiancee, wife's boyfriend, his girlfriend, my girlfriend, my other girlfriend, her girlfriend, family friend and her wife, 3 folks I was on the border with (cops and military people), a friend of a friend who said I just had to build her a vape, so I did ( thing is, I built vapes for all of them except the border folks and I think my vapes sucks {ha ha not sure if the pun is intended} and I'm still building vapes for the wife's (now former) boyfriend).

So, that's 14 that I can think of right off,

I helped a few others learn how to use their gear that they had set aside and they're successful 100% vapers now.
I never shy from vaping in public or fail to try helping people that ask me about vaping.

All the people I've set up have had their own converts thanks to me getting them straight.

And a few of them have done the same that I know of.

But I travel the country converting random strangers I'll never see again.

So anywhere from a couple dozen to a couple hundred.

I don't get out much so don't have a chance to talk to anyone about vaping but so far I can count one success (my oldest sister) and one other (my youngest sister) that I have been working with for at least 3 years. I still hold out hope for her although I never push.

Sort of convinced my ex about turning to vaping to stop smoking which made my daughter happy. I'm not sure if it was the stop smoking part that sold her as it was the mod. She really got into the red ostrich back on my Therion, so I'm assuming it's a fashion statement as much as a stop smoking thing. But whatever works.

I've also given out two inexpensive setups to folks who were really interested in stopping, but I still haven't gotten feedback from one, and the other is still dual use.

I have introduced 4 friends to vaping and they haven't smoked ever since. I'm truly proud of this, and it's funny because they were actually critical of vaping when I first started but time and experience change everything.
