Just to satisfy my own curiosity...How many current vapers started off (lets say 1st, 2nd, or maybe 3rd PV purchase) with the eGo and still use it exclusively today?

While I agree the delivery systems of the eGo line are not up to par; I have no complaints about my eGo bats. My 2nd PV was a eGo-T kit. It came with the refillable carts and not the tanks. Through ECF I learned how to mod the carts using the "Blue Foam mod" and I was in heaven. Plain and simple it worked for me. Then I went to the clearomizers, DCT's.....and so on. My reason for doing so was I wanted a better delivery system. I still use my eGo T bats that came with my original kit some 4 months ago on a daily basis. Currently paired with the Phoenix 3ml from GV and it is the perfect setup for me to carry to work. Oh yeah the bats are 900mah and normally 1 will last my all day at work. I do tend to switch to a fresh bat at lunch time though.

I have let friends borrow my PV's in hopes they would convert. The majority end up going with the eGo bats and then the delivery system the prefer. Now with the drop of the eGo Twist my other eGo bats are not seeing much use. I like a cooler vape and always like the vape better toward the end of the day on my eGo. With the twist I can dial it down to about 3.4 and I am happy.

Looking forward to hearing from those who still use the eGo bats daily and what delivery systems they have found to work best with them.

This is not intended to be a thread of debates or 1 that posters have to defend their comments. I am looking for a simple discussion from current eGo users.

my first cigg was a fire something, i dont even remember the name of it, but it was basically a m403 i think, came with a few carts, it sucked horribly.. almost no battery life, like a 150 or 280mah battery.. it was awful, and i paid over $60 for it.. but i didnt give up, i went from that to a eGo, the first generation, and 2 batts, that was my savior, i was able to quit smoking with it! I always used atomizers though, not cartos, and poly filled carts, then i started dripping direct, soon after that i bought the parts for a Mega Ego and used that for the longest time, till the batteries quit working anyway. Then my eGo charger eventually broke and i retired it after that cause i had then bought my first bottom feeder, an old goat and loved not having to drip or fill carts or cartos any longer, been using the goat ever since... Now i have 2 new mods on the way, custom mods created by str8vaping here on ECF, i'm a proud owner of the Bugatti E.T. VV mod and the Str8Tek VV. Both are bottom feeders like the Reo's. with my str8tek VV it uses dual 18650 batteries so now i can go days without a charge i hope. But the eGo was and will always be my first love, i'd consider buying a ego Twist if i could get my hands on a rebuildable genesis maxi atomizer w/ a tank

I carry my 650 mah eGo's to work every day. I use other stuff at home generally but the compact eGo's are easy to carry around...
I do the same thing. When I am at work I need something that is pocketable. I carry a 650mah eGo-t battery with a Phoenix 3ml bottom coil carto. It works great for me while at work because it has a sleeve over it. You would not believe how many tubes I have cracked in my pocket.

Started on Ego T & C, then moved on to Provari. HOWEVER, if Ego Twist batteries had been out at the time of my upgrade, there's a very good chance I'd still be using Egos pretty much exclusively. Not the Ego T & C tank systems, but yes the Ego as a power source.
Wow what a jump...eGo------>Provari. I do have a LT and LT mini (both clones) that I use when I am not at work. Also recently picked up the eGo Twist and I am loveing it. I am useing it now with all of my smaller/slimmer delivery systems and then useing my LT mini for the bigger tanks.

Granted, I've only been doing this for three weeks, but I'm loving my Egos (Ego-T and an Ego-C Twist.) Although, like many others, I almost immediately ditched the stock attys and carts and went with the Vision Clearomizer and some good attys for dripping.
Congrats on the 3 weeks! I actually used the carts for a good while. I did the "blue foam mod" found someplace here on ECF to help them wick better though. I was not looking for the best of the best. I just needed something that worked for me and was convenient while I was at work. However I like simplicity and grew tired of having to refill carts every night and then make sure I had them with me when I left the next morning. I never realy got into dripping because it is not possible for me to drip at work.

My eGo (2-650mah and a 900mah, pre-T or C or W) were not my first purchase, crummy mini's were,
but near 2 years later I still use them from time to time. I use some DIY mods as my daily
vaper, but there's something about the eGo's that is still satisifying.

LOL....I do not remember the brand my first one was but it was one of the "Free Trial" deals. Wish I would have found ECF before that...sighhh.

I have been vaping around 3 months now and love the tornado-t with the stardust carts. I am still fighting 3-4 cigarettes a day though but proud that I am still trying to quit smoking altogether. It was a 24 year habit so I think I am still doing good and praying to just vape very soon.

The fact that you want to quit and are trying to quit deserves a lot of credit. I tried everything I think: patches, gum, meds and so on. Nothing seemed to work and I was spending more money on those products than I was on cigarettes. Like you I vaped for a good bit before I laid analogs down completely. I found that vapeing a higher nic juice first thing in the morning, after I eat (this is when my craveings are the strongest) and so on realyl helped my craveings for a real cigarette. Main thing is don't give up...some quit in days; some in weeks; and some in months. You will but like I said you can not give up!
