How many times can you rebuild a Protank head?

I used to be a avid Protank user and have saved all of my used heads. Got quite a baggy full. I have moved on to Kayfuns but still like to use my Protank 2 for my harsher juices. I have finally master the art of rebuilding but was just wondering how many times can a protank head be rebuilt?

And I have to admit that a rebuilt micro coil with cotton my Protank is sooo much better then the silica. Almost rivals my kayfun.

I would rebuild them until I eventually scorched the little rubber/silicon grommet thingy that goes in the bottom with the legs.
Then gotta replace grommet thingy or move on to whole new coil.

I think you can buy just the grommet thingies somewhere, but I never did that.

The insulator will be the deciding factor - once that starts burning/melting, it's time to throw it out, or buy some new insulators. The rest has a pretty much infinite lifespan

these work in case you decide to use replacement insulators. I have a few and they are good quality. Silicone is a bit softer than the stock rubber insulators, a little harder to install, and I find it best to trim a bit of the lenght too, but they do fit.

I like these silicone grommets.....but find they're too "plump", and impede a proper fit of the coil to the tank base --- thus, LEAKS and/or ZERO DRAW!!
End of the day.....I just re-use the old rubber grommets until they're charred beyond recognition!!!

What everybody said - the only problematic part is the center post insulator if it gets singed.

You can also get them at lightning vapes in either silicone or the original rubber, but the pricing is rather obscene unless you get a 25 pack or more.
