How much can flavors change over time?

I'm really new to this. I bought a itaste VV 3.0 and a protank mini II (V2). My first decision of liquid was a potent menthol of 18mg called "mass". It was from a B&M. I love it. It's punchy enough I take 3-4 medium drags on it and I'm golden for an hour or two. I barely crack 30 puffs on my counter throughout my work day.

When I returned (to the store) to get her something. I bought another bottle of mass, as well as some new flavors to try.

All of the new flavors were weak. I actually complained a bit in the store and they added "more" flavor to one of the fruit liquids. As she sat there and tried the ones she bought. I was told I'm at 'that point' in vaping where I maybe can't taste anything. Or that the menthol was too strong and was blowing out the other flavors. And they were so fresh they needed to 'sit'.

I asked what PG/VG mix was and they said 50/50.

I got home and cracked open the new bottle of 'mass'. And it was the same thing. Weak. It's not even close to the other bottle I purchased. Now she literally went downstairs and mixed all this stuff.

So how much stronger will these get after sitting? These seem like they are way more VG than the last ones and I don't know what to do? Sit on them for a week ? What happens when I run out of the Mass I have? (And subsequently go bonkers and want to smoke or stab people?) Should I go back and ask for them to fix them? Or wait for these to magically change?

The old bottle of mass and the new one is night and day. The new one is completely clear, and smoky, dry with maybe 25% of the strength of the other. The original is a yellowish fluid, that appears thinner and is aromatic the second you pop the cap. It is a pungent pepperminty menthol.

I bought 2 bottles of vapor x brand (shelf stuff) from a corner store and the blueberry is literally so powerful it will make you to sick if you vape a lot of it. It is easily stronger than the menthol I bought and I can 'taste' it just fine... I'm pretty sure it ate my Kanger T3 as well as it's having a hard time holding liquids after 3 days of blueberry.

The strawberry is about the same though a little milder.

So I tried all of these in carts, some Kanger's and 2 mini protank II's. The flavors I think suck - suck in all mediums I've tried them in. I even stripped a Bloog cart and dripped right on the coil with all of them and the ones I think are weak, are weak.

I have only been at this a week or two. The woman 100% agrees with me on the juices being junk.

Bad mix? Different mix? They need to sit longer?

My gut says these are never going to measure up, and the big bottle of menthol is going to be a waste.

What say you gentlemen?

OK. A bunch of stuffs came in today when I got home. Namely Halo's menthol sample pack. And an atomizer so I can just drip everything.

It came with a warning if flavors were cold, they would need 24/48 at room temp to get back to normal.

They all went in the atomizer anyway.

2/8 were ok.

Everything else I had went into the atty soon after for comparison. The blueberry and strawberry vapor x brand were still punchy. The new mass was still smoky and weak. And the old mass was still amazing. If you've ever had icebreakers mints. That's it. It's a tinge sweet - then BOOM throat clenching menthol you can feel the whole way into your lungs.

It gives me all the sensations of smoking and I'm a little worried I'm not going to get it sorted so it can be my daily driver. I have a dozen more juices coming from other places but I'm getting annoyed with how weak a lot of this stuff is. What am I doing wrong?

(The vision spinner is nice! It's a perfect backup! I'm going to run carts in it I think for a pocket rig.)

Anyone have any input?

some things take a while for the flavors to develop and meld, and get stronger. You have to either wait it out, or do what i do and speed steep them. I have these old school radiators and I take my new juice and put it in a cardboard box and I place that box on top of a 1/2 thick plywood board (to prevent it from getting too hot), and put that on my hot radiator (it stays warm but not hot-you don't want it to get too hot, just warm). Then i periodically shake the box, and put it back. I leave it there for a few hours, or even over night. The flavors are so much better after that!
You can just leave them in a dark place for a while too and wait.

Some things will change color, that's ok and normal too.

Some people put their juice in a baggie and then in some water in a crockpot set on low setting.

Just don't let it get too warm, you don't want to cook it

Be sure to shake it well too

I just refilled my protank 2 mini that was 1/3rd full of the good MASS with another 1/3rd of the new stuff. It's OK. But smokier and weaker. When I poured it in, it didn't mix with the other fluid. I could see a line in the tank and I had to really shake it to get it to mix. I think there's just a lot more VG in this mix. It's drier, thicker, and smokier. I can taste the difference and I'm not thrilled.

They said the stuff I originally bought was 3 weeks old. It's what is in the PT in the picture. So it's turned a bit yellow. I have a space heater in my dining room. Everything is going in a shoe box in front of it as soon as I finish typing. If it works, I sincerely love your face.
