How much flavor to start with?

I bought 3 flavors from e-cig Express, Fuji Apple, White Peach and Vanilla Custard v2. The reviews state that people use the flavorings anywhere from 5%-20% which is a big range.

I have a 70vg/30pg base and I was wondering how many ml of flavor I should start with in each 30ml bottle I'll be making? Would 2ml of flavor be a good starting point or is that not enough?

How much does a 10ml bottle actually hold? In case I need to add up to 20%.

yup, triple it up when you get the % correct ... write every thing down.

Hi Jim. Different flavor manufacturers have different strengths, and that goes for their individual flavorings too. When mixing these as a single flavor...

Vanilla Custard v2 is a Capella flavor, and you can safely start that at 5% for testing. You might expect to move it up to 10% or more.

FlavourArt Fuji is a bit more concentrated, and 5% might be a little too strong (but maybe not). I'd start at 3%.
FlavourArt White Peach is stronger yet, you might want to start at 2% or 2.5%.

OK so I mixed them at your recommendations, 5% Apple, 2% peach, 10% custard to start. The Apple is amazing, much better than my local store bought stuff that I didn't even taste at all.

I haven't tried the peach yet and I might let the custard steep for a week or two but we'll see.

I'm not surprised you like the Fuji, it's pretty much the most popular apple flavor out there. I love apple flavoring and I wouldn't be without it.

Custard flavors do take a while to develop, but since you're using it singly and at 10% you could try it in a few days to see how you like it. Then put it away for a while and try it again.

After vaping the Fuji at 5% it is starting to get a bit overwhelming. I should have started with 3% like you mentioned. Oh well maybe I'll just add a little more base to it or something.

You may want to add as much as half of the base. In other words, I would take the bottle you made and put half of that into a new 30 ml bottle and add 15 ml of your base to produce another 30ml bottle of ejuice. And then of course same thing in the original bottle. The reason I say that is it will get more and more flavor as it ages(steeps). So if 5% is overwhelming now then it will only get more so.
