The great thing about the regulated mods is that you can build higher resistance coils for more surface area. I have my atty on my sigelei built at .4 ohms with 22 ga. the coils are huge. I usually run it at about 60 watts, which is plenty of power. That setup won't even get warm on my mechanical, which I have built at .2 also with 22 ga. They both hit about the same. You don't need to sub ohm a regulated box mod. I find the results to be better with them at higher resistances. To answer your question though, 70 watts is plenty to blow some big clouds...

No it won't. The mod stops firing when the battery reaches 3.2V. You get a low voltage warning instead of it firing.




Pushing any battery to it's limit will shorten the life of the battery so they always add in extra headroom. That said, as long as you're willing to live with reduced battery life you can max the IPV out on 20A batteries and never exceed that 20A mark. You'll be right on top of it and running the batteries to their limits though.



As for myself, I decided 200W was plenty. Can't imagine needing more than that. (In truth I won't ever be anywhere near that, it's a temperature control mod so most of the time it will be running at 20W or less, and only going as high as 70W when I first press the fire button to instantly heat the coil. The instant the coil hits the operating temperature the watts start dropping to maintain it.)

I wanted a dual battery temperature control mod that could go up to 100W at least. My Freemax Starre works great at 70W and I wanted some headroom above that. I also wanted a temperature control mod, and I wanted a very easy to use mod that didn't require me to spend long periods fiddling with menus before I could use it whenever I changed attys.

The SnowWolf 200W delivered what I wanted. Dual battery, will work just fine at 70W with plenty of headroom so I'm not pushing the batteries or circuitry to the limits, it has temperature control, and a menu-less user interface. When I put a new atty on it asks "New Atomizer?" and I press the + button for yes, then it detects the coil resistance and automatically selects either wattage or temperature control depending on the coil type. I switch between setting the wattage and setting the temperature by pressing both the + and - buttons at the same time. That's all there is to it. Fast, simple, and very user friendly. I love it.

The fact that it does 200W is irrelevant to me. That wasn't a selling point, but I'm not going to turn down a mod that does everything I want just because it has the option of delivering more power than I'll actually use.

You would be surprised at how shatter resistant that glass is. There's already been one member here who has dropped theirs on a hardwood floor without leaving a single scratch on it.

Rumor is it's gorilla glass.

I have istick 20-30-50 & now the EvicVT and love them all!
The temp control I didn't try yet but it's something diffident and I can't wait to try it lol
I find myself using the evicVT more cause that battery life is amazing! I am sure every single mod above is great!!
