What threads are you referring too? I know people are concern about the pushing the batteries AMP limit, where it could cause the battery to vent (get really dam hot)..as for charging..you will notice a drop in vapor production even with full tank/wet wick (RDA)
I always have backup fully charged while the other goes into charger
Porkchopbun. Aaaaaaah. Ok. I was reading the thread about the person trying to sub ohm and people were talking about battery safety and things blowing up and I thought to myself "uh oh! I have no idea if I'm changing my battery right!"
What batteries are you using? The safe low limit you shouldn't allow your battery to drop below depends on the battery chemistry.
Old ICR chemistry batteries should not be allowed to drop below 3.2 volts or you start damaging the battery. (The kinds of batteries that should not be used in a mechanical anyway.)
The majority of IMR and hybrid chemistry batteries are safe to drop as low as 2.5 volts - but it's best to check the manufacturer specs on a case by case basis. Regardless, for most people using a mech they start to notice a performance drop long before they anywhere close to 2.5 volts.
Depends on how hard you're using it. I'm vaping at .7 on one, .6 on another and .5 dual coil on a third. Of course I'm using 3 mods at once, but I can go all day until the next morning and my batteries will still be at 3.8 or above. If I were using just the nemesis, at .5 ohms, I would bring another battery as backup. I don't ever let mine go below 3.6.
