How often do you actually vape for - puff/vape/toke wise?

hey all, i know this question has been asked about a million times, and about 1,000 of those times have been by me :) . I'm trying to paint a picture in my head of how vaping could be more effective, and i want to learn from others. I've been vaping on and off since 2008/2009. At first it was an electric toy that no one even heard of, and now it's grown into thousands of dedicated hardcore fans, hopefully tens of thousands.

i'm a 2PAD guy, and after having twins (born december) i'm starting to really like the idea of being alive. It helps me be with my newborn children, and I realize now that if i'm no longer breathing, and 6 feet under, it will be very hard for my son and daughter to spend some quality time with me. - since i'll be laying with the worms.

ok, humor over :) So basically instead of my vaping non stop 24/7 - im trying to break this down in patterns, or vape sessions just like you would an analog right? I'm vaping 24mg thru 36mg depending on my mood and cravings and so far its been worth it. What i'm trying to move away from is the constant "thinking" of vaping, and constantly vaping until i feel i've had my fill. I tried to break the session down to 20 vapes per hour, then i landed on around 10 vapes every 10 minutes..so 60 vapes an hour.
Is that more than 2PAD worth of nicotine? who the hell knows. We lost a decent percentage of that nicotine when vaping, especially when the style of vape is always different, from long draws to quick hard draws. What i'm doing is basically listening to my body, if i feel i still want a cig, i vape a little more.

Whats everyone else doing? are we just going free-for-all and vaping whenever the hell we want because we can? or are you guys limiting yourselves to a certain amount an hour? or am i over-thinking it, and just need to shut the hell up? I'm fine if it's the latter , i i deserve to be told to shut up at least 2 or 3 times a day. :)

also, i know that voltage matters also, someone with 5v might not feel the need to vape as someone with 3.7 volt, or even a regulated 3.3 volt - due to environmental changes (th, flavor, warmth of vape),

~~ but if we could leave that out for a second, and just work on the raw data, and the amount of time spent vaping, that would help me out tremendously.

I found that I was chain vaping..it was easy and indoors. I got an eroll. More like a cig..needs to recharge after 15 minutes or so. If you use it the way it is intended. Some eroll users have increased the nic level and decreased the vape time....it is what I was looking for. I was spending too much with the constant plumes.

You can tell from my join date that I'm obviously an expert ( ;) ) so here's my 2 cents: as long as long as you're not craving and not overdosing (i.e. you're keeping your body at a comfortable nic level) then you're probably doing it right.

My guess is that reducing the amount of time vaping may require a different plan of attack than reducing the total daily nic level. They are two different habits after all: the physiological dependency on nic and the psychological dependency on the act of vaping (or smoking). Trying to break both at once is likely to be unsuccessful.

I'm not really a "session" guy... I seem to take a vape or two every 5 to 10 minutes, depending on what I'm doing. If I'm out and about sometimes it'll be an hour before I even think about a vape (then I take about 10 :p). I more or less chain vape in the car for some reason. Sounds like a lot when you write it down, but I'm still happy I'm not smoking.

I'm also not a "session" sort. I may take one to three puffs then put it down and ignore it for a while. Then my hand snakes over and I puff off it again.

When I'm somewhere I can't vape, I'll step outside with the smokers and take 20-30 hits off it, then go back in. I usually time myself off a smoker so I'm out for about 1-2 cigarettes' worth.

If I'm not nauseated and headachey (overdose) or getting antsy (withdrawal), that's great.
