Okay, I know I saw a thread like this somewhere but all the words I've tried to search are forbidden.

I just wanted to ask - how often do you vape? I started off using 0mg, then upgraded to 11mg, then 16mg and I'm finding it's still not satisfying. I'm afraid to go too much higher because I'm vaping pretty frequently, and it's worrying me.

Anyone else have this concern?

I vape 18mg, but I was a pack-a-day smoker for 22 years. I vape at the same rate that I smoked (the equivelent to an analog every hour). 18mg is the highest I can go, any higher and I can't stand it. I get headaches and I don't feel well at all.
I wouldn't suggest going any higher than 18mg.

Just curious...why would you start at 0mg and keep going higher? were you a non-smoker before you started vaping?

I smoked lights for the last 10 years or so, 1 - 2 packs a day. I vape about 2 - 3 mls a day, dripping onto a 510. I use 12mg and can vape almost all day. When I started I bought some high and some med mg fluids and found the med worked best for me. Theres people on here who are using 24 mg and higher. you just gotta find what works best. anything over 12 mg makes me sick and is too harsh.

I read a bunch of posts before I started and almost everyone advised to start low and increase nic content if necessary. I started at 18mg and you couldn't get the pacifier out of my mouth. I was sucking on that thing constantly. I upped it to 24mg, same thing. I used to carry two 510s because I'd heat one up so hot but couldn't wait for it to cool down so I'd go to the other one which was 'cooling' in reserve. I'd go back and forth between the two constantly. My wife accused me of developing OCD. Tiring of this all, I ordered 36mg from Totally Wicked and finally felt relief, a 'nic buzz.'

The order from Totally Wicked took what seemed like forever to get here (it was something like 'in process' for four or five days before it shipped), so when I had to reorder I turned to myfreedomsmokes. To my surprise, they offered 48mg. Ordered that, figuring that I could always cut it if necessary.

Bottom-line is that it does the trick for me. I can take a few 'hits' and put the thing down, instant relief, instant gratification. Add a 6v mod to the equation and I finally feel as if I'm set-up to function as a 'vaper' from here on in. I usually perform these brief 'vap-sessions' at about the same rate that I used to smoke, so, I'll do this maybe 30-40 times a day. I go through somewhere between 2-3ml of juice per day.

I realize that some enjoy the act of vaping and would prefer to 'draw' their experience out so that they vape more frequently and longer. For me, after the novelty of the thing wore off, I just wanted to quell the nic fits and get on with what else I have to do.

Consider going to a higher nic juice and a mod. As I said, you can always cut the nic content down if it's too much for you.

I started off at 6mg,, and vaped non stop played with different levels from 0mg to 24mg after all this time you find you change (needs as you go) I went t vaping 24mg all the time but vaped less ,,,, and for shorter sessions each of those times during the day,, was still vaping through out the day.. Now, I'm Still using 24mg...leave my PV at the computer and never take it with me during the day.. Enjoy my morning time vaping and in the evening... Been a couple of mornings I have been running late and had to just get out the door and not vape at all and not even get my morning cup of coffee lol ... And been just fine without even thinking about it..... My coffee addiction is like nothing now as well...

think best to find your comfort zone level and go with it.. I didn't want to be attached non stop to vaping, the quick short fixes at a higher level is what worked for me... and I just went from there...

A newer forum member recently posted asking about how you knew when to stop vaping. Unlike an analog cigarette, there is not beginning, middle or end. After contemplating this statement, I realized that is why many vapers vape non-stop for long periods of time. There is not 'end' and we can vape where we could never smoke.

That said, we all work our way into a routine that satisfies our needs. I tend to vape rather heavily and have recently backed off from 36mg and 24mg e-liquids to 18 mg e-liquid. what i found was, I was vaping more at the lower nic levels. Perhaps one might conclude I need the nicotine more than the vaping. I cannot say for sure, but I satisfy myself better using at lest 24mg/ml concentration of e-liquid.

Lately, I have been using nasal snuff to determine if my addiction is purely nicotine or a combination of nicotine and the physical act of smoking, Early results show that the act of smoking is very much an ingrained part of my personality. Do what works for you. If you are trying to quit analogs, best wishes for a quick success.

I vape like a fiend sometimes, other times I don't. I tend to vape heavily in front of my computer at work or at home, and while watching TV at home. I don't feel the need while working out, or driving very much, or shopping, etc. When I smoked analogs, I always felt the need to smoke. ALWAYS.

I vape 18, 24, and sometimes 36mg liquids. I've been scaling back. I started with 36, but I've been working myself down and haven't really felt nic cravings very much. I think I vape heavily at times due to the whole 'hand-to-mouth' reflex I developed over the last 15 years. :)

I smoked a pack a day of Marlboro Lights (switched to Pallmall because of price).

I started vaping with 11mg and was really not satisfied. I bought some 16 mg and that made a noticeable difference, but I still wasn't really satisfied and had cravings almost all day. I ended up ordering a bottle of 24mg RY4 from nhaler, and I have not wanted a cigarette since it arrived.

I now vape 24mg RY4 pretty much all day, maybe switch out with another 24mg flavor. I also have a big @$$ bottle of 10mg Blackberry I got from vtvapor, I will drip that using my VP2 while sitting at my desk or at home watching TV or gaming. Basically, when I don't really have a nic craving. But all-in-all, nothing really does the trick for my cravings like the 24mg RY4.

Chain smoked 120s. So 30 cigs a day minimum.

Started vaping at 11mg. Went to 18, then 24, then 36. At 36, I could put my PV down. But, I still have 6, 11 and 24mg juice in the house.

I fill up with whatever flavor I'm obsessed with at the time and vape away.

So basically, if I didn't have to recharge batteries, I'd just crazy glue the durn thing to my hand.

Generally, I vape the way I smoked, usually every 20-30 min. at 36mg, sometimes 48mg. If I go less I need to vape almost non-stop. From everything I read, vaping 3ml of 36mg a day is much healthier than 1 analog a day. Try increasing your mg/ml until you're satisfied, that'll help avoid a few real smokes and your body will tell you when you've had enough nic. Like Breakfastchef said, you'll need to find your own level. Don't be scared to up the nic. Just like smoking too much will make you feel oogy, so will e-liquid. :)

I started off using my 510 like a pacifier, it was virtually glued to my hand the first month I had it. I started off with 18mg's and steadily made my way up to 24mg's, and that's where I've stayed for the past 4 months.

Now that the novelty has worn off, I'm actually able to leave my house without my PV, just so long as it's a quick trip like to the grocery store or out to pick up a video.

I still tend to vape quite heavily in social situations though. Especially if I'm having a drink or two.
