I don't know why someone would tell you to use an 80/20 mix. Use what you like and clean according to how fast your favorite juice gunks your atty up, or just buy new ones(they're cheap). I dry burn then soak my attys and tanks in very hot(almost boiling) water for about 15 minutes, dry with a paper towel and vape. Also, 1.8ohms is not too low for 3.7 volts, I have an ego battery and an evod tank that I have for work that I keep in my pocket and I've always used 1.8's on the regulated setting and never get a burnt taste. Try cleaning your coils and if that doesn't work get a new head. One or the other should fix the problem. Don't forget to do a few hard dry pulls every time you put a new or cleaned head in.
