I only use one flavor juice in my mini vivi nova, so I just keep filling it as it gets empty. How often should I take it apart and clean it? Thanks in advance.
my lighter juices dont gunk up the coil as much as my darker, sweeter juices.
basically, just go by the flavor of the vapor. once the taste begins to taste the slightest bit burnt, swap out the atty head and soak it in vodka. i rotate my atty heads this way.
It's not darkly colored, but it's strong (hence the dedicated tank). So far, it vapes beautifully and tastes great. I guess I'll have to wait until something tells me it needs a cleaning. I asked because I clean my regular attys all the time, but I'm never had a tank before.
I clean mine after every tank by rinsing under hot water and only dry burn it if the coil looks gunked up then i rinse it after the dry burn to remove any particals left from the dry burn. i have been using the same heads that came with the unit for well over a month and a half now with out any issues. Although i did just replace one with a 3.0 ohm coil it works great on the twist at 4.2v.
I just vaped a honey flue that when I filled it the 2nd time half way through I started tasting yuck. I managed to get through it and when I rinsed and looked at the coil, it was pretty darned gunky. Took a lot more time burning it all off than usual! This is going to be a one tank, then clean, juice!
So, lesson learned. I revise my answer to a minimum of every few tanks
