I just ordered my starter kit today along with some sample flavors. I got 9 flavors of 3 ml each. How long should I expect this to last me. On average I am currently a 1 pack a day smoker.

This really will depend on how much you vape. I remember a thread where everyone was saying how much juice they go through - it ranged from less than 1 ml a day to 8ml a day. The average was 2-3 ml. So if you are vaping the average you could expect them to last 8-9 days. But if you vape less than that then longer.
See how much you vape today - then you'll have an idea how long it will last.

Starting out, you're likely to go through more liquid than you will in the future once the transition is done, too.

A week wouldn't surprise me. Nine days wouldn't surprise me. Anything over 12 or under 5 days, that would surprise me. :)

I average about 5 ml per day, but was a very heavy smoker. My mother is closer to 1-2 ml per day, and she was near your level. But your mileage is going to vary.

Your e-liquid consumption also depends on your vaping hardware, both PV and atty-cart/carto/clearo/tank. When I was using eGo batts plus attys and/or cartos almost exclusively, I went through about 3 ml. per day. Now that I'm using VV/VW PVs plus Vivi Novas and Vivi Nova Minis, I find I'm vaping about 5 ml. per day.

Nothing really changed: just my hardware.

I used to be a three pack-per-day smoker, but from what I've read here on ECF, the amount you vape need not correlate to the amount you vape. Some go from being less than PAD smokers to chain vapers; a few go the other way, from heavy smokers to occasional vapers. The nice thing about nicotine is that your body tells you when you're under- or overdosing. If you're underdosing, you'll most likely have heavy cravings for analog cigarettes; if you're overvaping, you'll get plenty of symptoms that tell you to slow down (without endangering your health).

So you'll just have to keep track of your personal consumption as time goes on. Just find your "sweet spot" for maximum contentment.

I will say that those 3 ml. sampler bottles probably won't last you very wrong!

My opinion is most people vape between 3-6 ml a day, but it can vary from 1 ml to 10 ml a day.

Much depends upon the nicotine strength of the juice and at what point you are with vaping. Beginners typically use a higher nicotine strength around 18-24 mg nicotine. The higher nic content should satisfy without needing to vape as much compared to someone vaping for a longer time who may have successfully cut down the nicotine strength to say 12mg nicotine.

There are going to be samples you like and won't like (thus don't want to vape).

Yeah, don't expect to use all of those 3ml sample bottles. You'll find flavors you like, flavors you hate, and others you are neutral on. I have probably 50 nearly full sample bottles that I'll probably never touch again. But it's part of the process. You end up spending a lot of money on samples in an effort to find something that you like.

If you haven't already see if you have a vape shop near you. Most shops will allow you to sample all of their flavors for free, and it could save you lots of money purchasing samples. That being said, I have a bunch of vape shops in my area, and I still buy samples online. You never know where you might find a winner.

Wow! When I ordered 9 of the 3 ml samples I thought I was way overdoing it, but I guess not. I am sure that some of them I will not like. I was shocked at all the flavors i.e. bacon, garlic, onion, spaghetti!! I chose mostly fruit flavors. I did get a clove as I used to like those little clove cigarettes. The only crazy one I got was red wine......I have a feeling I am not going to like that one though.

I appreciate the responses so I know I will need to place another order soon and must look for a shop in my area too.

I have a related question. I am using a vision spinner, and I have both a vision ego clearomizer 2.0 and the standard 510 threaded cartos.

I find that I go through a LOT more juice using the clearomizer than with the cartos. When I'm using a carto, I keep the voltage at about 4.3. When I use the clearo, I set the voltage to 3.8.

Should I just use cartos exclusively to save juice? Or would I benefit from switching to the vision vivi tanks? If so, what resistance should I get?

Thanks.

I Go through about 30ml a week, depending on nic concentration. If you're just starting off, it's impossible to guess what your vaping habits will be, so you may want to go ahead and order a few different sample packs from some different vendors. As soon as you find one flavor and strength combination that works for you, order a larger bottle so that you are never without something you will enjoy.

Rinse and repeat.
