Speaking of batteries heres a question while I wait on my supermini. The AW that Jay sells with the supermini- How well do they hold their charge when not in use? IE- once charged, how long will a spare battery hold its charge (without being used)?

I had some black AW's sitting around for about a month before I got my Super mini in, the day I know it would be here I put them back on the charger and with in 10min they where back up to full which would normally take 2 or more hours to charge after 10 to 12 hours of use. So I would say they hold a charge pretty good.

Ahh I see probably similar to how an eGo bat does the whole.... wth... drip drip drip more juice... vape vape and then flashes like crazy lol.

After 6 hours on a fresh battery I haven't noticed any drop off at all with my sm. No leaks either, the higher volts seam to use up the juice more efficiently. I'll probably stick to Jay's brand of battery for now and see how many charge cycles I get from them.

I'm using a digital camera lanyard that I bought for $15 at London Drugs and little mini key rings that I found on fishing lures, they're tough little rings!

Now all I need is one of those slick atty covers!! Haha I'm sure I'll need/want allot of stuff!!

Welcome to the family. Looks great & I love your lanyard set-up. I also chose the polished aluminum and have something very different and quite stylish in mind for mine when it arrives and I'll share pics. Till then, it's a secret. Shh.

If you use the AW ICR 123s Jay recommends and sell on his site, there's no real drop-off. You'll get to a point where you get a couple of light vapes and then nothing. Other batteries like the red & black Trustfire "flames" and silver UltraFires do seem to drop-off slowly as they run down which to me, is a little confusing; I'm never sure if my carto is dying or if it's the batteries so I personally prefer the AWs. Since I currently use my 5v almost exclusively, I just carry two pairs in by bag and an extra set in the console in the car.

This may be me, but I do notice a drop-off in flavor & vapor when my battery is getting low. When I put on another battery, I can notice improvement immediately. I have only had a battery completely deplete once.

Just got mine today check out the pics on the http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/greatlakesvapor/155179-super-mini-pre-order-open.html thread. Just plain polished alum. Now I understand what pure vaping bliss is all about!! coming from using an eGo for 6 months.

I never knew this half of the GLV forum existed lol. Too many sticky's I guess!

Can anyone tell me what happens when the battery gets too low. Does it slowly fade and then the low limit circuitry inside the battery cut off at a certain point? Stuck on a desert island scenario is what I'm curious about.

Great pics everyone!

even a fully drained drained sm is better than any ego at full power!!

After 8 hours medium use 3.73/3.25 no-load/under-load 0.48 dif

Freshly charged 4.15/3.63 no-load/under-load 0.52 dif

Love the sm!! It's perfect!!
