How tight should the cotton fit?

I have a Magma clone and I was wondering how tight the cotton fits in your coil or if it particularly matters.

Ditto the not tight but snug, and I like to add a nest. Similar to this.

I feel like I get better vapor production nesting coils on my tanks and RDAs, and it reduces leaking on my Magma when I fill.

yup! not tight but snug, as in not so tight that when you pull the cotton through it starts bunching up outside the entrance to the coil, grab both ends of the wick once installed and slide it back and forth to check for tightness, a little friction is good lol i didnt have time to give an explanation earlier, i tried but the forum wouldnt let me type in the same box as the pic
