How to build a mechanical mod?

Hey everyone, long time lurker and really haven't searched around a lot since I don't have much time. But I was wondering if there are any threads or tutorials on how to build mods like the GG or the 69 mod out there. I really admire the craftsmanship that goes into these pieces and would love to see if there was anything out there explaining it further as far as parts, and anything else needed. Myself and a machinist buddy have some great ideas we would love to implement into the device. Thanks again everyone!
