Any atty can die at any time, they are consumable items and not all attys are created equally. It's wise to always have a few spares. The method I described is not necessarily specifically for Inferno attys, It's the same method I use for all attys. The Inferno atty is a LR atty( low resistance) so for longevitys sake when dry burning it's best to keep the burns to a minimum to keep from overheating and damaging the coil, also it's better to use lower voltage like the Infero battery provides ( about 3.3v). I know there are quite a few ways to clean attys, but for me the speed of this simple method ( 5 minutes) trumps the others and I have not had much of a problem with my attys lasting anywhere from about 3 weeks to 3 months.
If you look at the bottom end of the atty ( battery end ) there will be what looks like a round metal disk with a hole in it.That is the pin I was refering to, it is the positive battery conection.( the threads are the negative battery conection) Blow through the atty and put your finger over the hole in the pin, you'll notice air keeps coming out of the 2 little holes located above the threads, this clears them of any debris. Those holes are where we get air from when we are vaping, the center pin hole is actually blocked by the battery( unless it's an automatic battery).
Edit: I hope I'm not misunderstanding, you do mean the " Inferno" atty and not the Tankomizer, correct?
