I got five new 510 LR atties in the post, and two of them have blocked airways. It means the drag is very hard and they produce no vapor because there's no air getting through.

The atties meter out fine and are OK apart from the airway blockage internally. OK those two duds are going back. There is another with a partially-blocked airway that I might try and fix. It has maybe 75% air throughput so it vapes, but not 100%.

Two good ones out of five isn't a good score but that's mass-production for you I guess. Probably came out of China at 50c each so there you go.

Anyway, I want to play with the partially-blocked one as if it can be fixed, that will help when I find more in my stash that I didn't test when they first came in and that I can't send back.

There's an internal plastic disc, just above the atomizer threads. A single hole through the center of this disc must be open for the 510 atomizer to draw. Usually closed up due to excess atomizer heat, it could be possible for a small or missing hole as a factory defect.

Open it up with a small drill bit or a pin. I use a #55 or so drill bit, which is 1.321mm. I'd venture that a 1.5mm drill bit would work fine.
