1. don't fill cartomizers with juice you don't know you like. If you have a KR808D-1 use a DSE901 atty and cart (or drip tip if you have a manual battery). If KR808D-2 aka E9 get a D2 ot 510 adapter at LeCig and use a 510 atty. If Blu try a Joye 306 atty. Standard resistance for all of those attys if you have a slim battery.

2. You can search Youtube for Reverse Taryn SPin. I do not use the filling method shown in there. but I have used the reverse spin to get a good amount of juice out of a carto. It's not going to totally remove the flavor so fill it with some compatible flavor.

3. You can attempt to clean and dry a cartomizer but some people are successful with this and some are not

I'll second this. Wish I'd discover dripping sooner.

Depends on the Cartomizer. If it's a CE2 they are easy to clean out, dry burn and refill as good as new.

If it's the filler type I've never had any luck trying to clean those, I vape em till they stop preforming well and toss em. There are some people who've had success with boiling them, etc. but I never did.

When you're testing to see if you like a juice or not dripping is the best method. A couple of drops at a time until you figure out if it's something you want to vape more of..or not.

Your best bet is to blow any juice already filled out through the battery end and then either refill with something that will mask the flavor of the first, or clean them with water. For the second option, try using a turkey baster and hot water to flush them out several times after removing the mouthpiece. Then blow all the excess water out that you can and put them on a pie plate, piece of tin foil, whatever you can stick in the oven, and bake them on 200 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes to thoroughly dry them. Never let a carto air dry as it can cause mold and mildew to grow in the batting. The boiling method mentioned earlier in the thread is really more for cartos that you want to keep but have been through a large number of refills and are losing their oomph. The turkey baster method can be used for that as well, but if your filament is really gunky, sometimes boiling is the best option to try and revive them.

Personally, I just replaced one juice with another, after blowing out the stuff I didn't like, as long as they were at least somewhat complimentary. You might get bleed though taste for a couple of refills but it's still better than the bottom of the ashtray taste of burning tobacco.

There are a couple of ways. But your best bet is to replace. If it is the older style cartomizer, which you will know if it has a wire running through the intake tube. Then rinse with warm water, blow out moisture until dry, then you might want to take a paper clip and run it through the intake tube.

If it is a newer cartomizer which will not have the wire but a little coil at the screw end of the cartridge which you can barely see. I would just recommend just blowing out the access juice until none comes out and add flavoring until the new flavor overpowers the old one. The reason I would not recommend rinsing this style is warm water will shrink you intake tube and it is very easy to damage the heating element when boring it out after the tube shrinks. I have accidentally washed them in the washing machine and it cleaned them out and still worked fine.
