How to enhance a flavor ?

Hello everyone!

Is there a method about making a flavor more concentrated ?
Let me explain :
EXAMPLE
I have a flavor which needs 25% adding-dosage in my base.
What i need is to make this flavor more concentrated, so to need only 10-15% adding-dosage in my base.
Is it possible ?
Something like ... to buy 2 flavors of this and create 1 stronger flavor.

I DIY and have never yet come across a flavor that needs 25%. Sometimes you can add too much flavor and that can have the opposite affect to what you are trying to achieve. Less is more usually. What flavors are you using?

As Yves said, if you're DIYing 25% may be killing your flavours more than making them stronger. I was using some that had a recommended 15-20% and found that 5-10% of a single flavour was plenty, even 3-4% on some (like peanut butter) is too much!

You are right. 99% of commercial flavors are normal-dosage.
I have many flavors from many companies (only 1% of these needs more than 25%) but my target is to make my favorite flavors very strong, needing only 2-3 drops/10ml base.

Unfortunately, I don't know of a way you can make a concentrate even more concentrated beyond what the manufacturer sells. Other than menthol the "high concentrate" single flavourings are still in the 1-3% range (~25-30 drops for a 10ml bottle).

Only thing you could do is buy the super concentrated flavors that some vendors sell, I don't know of any way to make any flavor more concentrated, maybe one of the chemists we have around here will have other advice.

I think that taste sensitivity is very subjective.
There are people with high taste sensitivity and people with low taste sensitivity. There are good-taste atomizers and low-taste atomizers.
There are people who can recognize the individual flavors in a mixture and people who can not taste the mixture at all.
