Okay, help.

How do you fill these things?

I've got both the top black cap off and inner black cap out (the one with 2 tiny holes on either side), but upon sticking a flashlight in there and seeing the inside of the cartomizer, I don't know that's it's a good idea to just start dripping liquid in there - I don't see any filling to drip onto. I don't know what I'm looking at, to be honest. It looks like maybe the filling is blocked off by more plastic? :?:

If I can't drip the liquid in thru the top, can I fill them thru the bottom hole? If so, how many drops can I get in there?

If it's similar to the one I have (there's a thread here about filling the XL cartos), I punctured the plastic in the center, and injected with a syringe. You can apparently top off with the condom method, but I haven't tried that, yet. I did try the condom method on its own, but ended up tossing it.

I am COMPLETELY new to this kind, though, so I'll just leave it there.

Here, there, everywhere!
View attachment 23743 Is this the type you have?

If so you can do the condom method but I find they leak alot (IMO). You can also turn it with threads up and drip into it but on the inside one side is the air flow for inhaling and the other side is the filler so it is 50/50 which side you are dripping into. I have found if I put a mark on one side of the cartomizer and lay the cartomizer down (with the plastic covers on both ends) and slightly roll it a couple times it tends to stop rolling with the mark in the same place most the time which leads me to believe the heavy side that is down has the juice/filler. Whether that is true or not I don't know but after I fill each one I do this and store them that way and tend to have very little leakage or juice in the mouth piece.

If you fill through the top you do have to break the seal on the filler port but that can be done with a paperclip (and a little force). I have a needle that I had received with an E2 ceramic cartomizer that works wonders and I just filled 12 of them in about 1/2 hour. I got 1 ml syringe from clouds of vapor and the little blue plastic needle to go with it.

Makes sense! Thanks for the tip!

Yes Laurae09 - those look to be exactly what I have.

Okay! So I need to get a needle!

DawnH - I'm going to check the video out when I get home from work.

Thanks for the help everyone! I just KNEW these things were going to be sideways from normal to fill - I'm glad I asked before I attempted it.

Note to Abe or ImYourSalt - just a suggestion, but maybe you guys could include some sort of memo under this product listing on your website regarding how to fill it. If I had known that a needle was required, I would have added one to my order. :)

I just did the best I could by filling it up condom-style since I don't have a needle yet. And it wasn't really all that messy either.

And yes - these are very nice cartomizers! Screw the atomizer/carts/dripping business - it's really not for me. My juice tastes so much better coming from a cartomizer. :D

I still like these cartomizers better than any I have tried even though they take a little bit more to fill.

I just got 10 in the mail today and used a syringe to fill one. Great little cart so far, (not so little put 1 ml in it) but noisy:laugh::laugh:

So worth the extra effort IMO (just a little leakage)

I'm on day 3 with these carts and I've been noticing the leakage too. :/ The leakage seems to be getting worse the more I try to re-fill it/top it off (from the bottom, LOL). Even when I think I've thoroughly wiped the bottom off, more juice continues to flow the more I vape. :-x

I'm going to try out the entire pack of 5 before I review them on the LF website, just in case I just got a not-so-good one to start with. I'm also going to try filling with a syringe to see if maybe that doesn't reduce the leakage as well. But so far... I'm not really impressed with this carto. :glare:
