Hi all

First post :)

For anyone interested I just worked out a way to fill these new cartomizers without using a syringe/needle. I haven't seen anyone else suggest this, so maybe it's new.

1. Put the bottom condom on
2. Take the soft cap out
3. Put 10-20 drops in
4. Slowly pull the condom off
5. Clean excess from battery end and inside top
6. Replace soft cap

This method draws the liquid down through the small holes in the plastic inner cap and seems to work well.

More experimentation to do :)

Cheers

Guys

I just realised that this method will probably only work with the 7 hole version.

I have just seen a photo of the 3 hole version and the middle hole is large, so it probably won't work in the same way.

If the juice can be put through the large middle hole, there's probably no need for this method (can just drip straight into it). And if the juice has to go down the sides, this method probably won't work.

Cheers

Hi Col - yeah, I guess this method won't work on those. Did you use a syringe?

My cartos came with a syringe and every package of the cartos comes with an injector tip that fits on the syringe.

I had also purchased some tine needle syringes on amazon and they work fine as well. So far the cartos seem to be working okay, but the 510's seem to be temperamental as to what PV they will work on, they will not work on my omega or my 510 Tekkeon mod even with an adapter. Have you run into this problem?

Hi

I've only tried mine on an Ego or standard 510 and both have worked.

Since my previous post, I have received some of the 3 hole versions.

I'm not having much luck though - particularly with VG juice. I only got one drag before I started getting a burnt taste. PG has been better, but I still get a burnt taste after maybe 10 drags. I'm not hammering it either - I'm giving it 10 seconds at least between puffs.

I'll try some more and see how they go. I find the fill method a little tedious (i.e. with the injector tips). It's OK, but I prefer using the condom method of the older versions or just dripping into the battery end. I don't think you can do either with these though.

I seem to be having better success with mine, but I think it may be because I am vaping even slower on mine. One problem I was having was with the taste disappearing. When I got home I refilled one with some Johnson Creek and the other with a know flavorful liquid and so far the taste on both has remained.

Overall for heavy vaping cartos with filler cannot be beat, but for mild vaping the new ones seem ok. I was forced to buy a bunch of them because they only sold them in bulk and at this point dont think that I will purchase any more of them, during their successive incarnations and improvments unless they come up with something that everyone is just WOW about.
