How to for "Message Approval"

I've created albums in My Profile/Settings and uploaded pictures. I get a notification that there is a message from a member awaiting moderation approval. I've searched everywhere for that function but cannot locate how to approve or delete messages that people leave for the Albums.

I had to search my pictures to find the one that the comment was on and the choice to approve was there.

Hey, that's a start !....appreciate the help. Is there a way to disable comments altogether? If I have to search every picture to find and moderate comments, I'd just as soon remove the option.

I have gone through the settings and cannot find a way to reset that field. The only options are who can see the pics. Perhaps mention it in the site feedback thread and see if Alex may come up with something.

At this stage there is no way for members to set their albums to not allow comments. It has to be done at the usergroup level, not at the user album owner level. Sorry.

Thanks for the info....that's OK, Gaterz Girl helped me know how to find where the comment is coming from instead being "stuck" in notifications.

Thanks --- it is rather obscure---I thought I had checked my pictures -- but it's a bit more to it. Also, the notification says it's about a picture that isn't in any albums? Huh?

I did figure it out. Posting this as it might help others. Sorry, I don't have all the correct names of the drop down menus.

Go to your albums.

Click on each picture to enlarge/open it.

Find one that has comment.

Select the comment by using the button menu on far right top of the comment.
When the comment is "yellow"...

Use option menu at bottom right to approve, delete, etc. and say OK. (You'll then get an error message)

Leave the area -- and your "notification" is now gone and the comment is posted, deleted etc.
