Not to nitpick, but I really hate it when vendors don't offer sliding scale postal rates. It's the same thing with Totally Wicked. I wanted to order a single battery adapter, and it was going to cost more for shipping than for the adapter itself.

For small things like this, they should just stick them in a small padded envelope and offer First Class shipping. It'd cost like $2 with Delivery Confirmation.

$7 for a single atomizer and a drip tip? That's really not cool. Flat Rate Priority is even less than that.

Maybe you mentioned it and I missed it, but why is it $25 for a low resistance atomizer?

The difference in performance is huge, good to see an actual video of it so thanks for posting.

It takes me forever to watch the videos, even on DSL...so, where do you get low resistance attys from? I have the eGo so I'm set there :)

nhaler sells them for $12

Awesome! Thank you very much:)

Got another question...Do these attys drop the battery life? I'm assuming they do, but probably not by much, just thought I would ask.

hmm, that's a good question actually... if they allow more current to flow from the battery, you'd think that would have a negative impact on the battery life.... I personally haven't tried them yet, so hopefully someone who has can chime in with their experience.
He sure is confusing with all his prices.

What the deal is:

Low resistance atty $12
The drip tip $8
Shipping $5
Total $25

The drip tip is a complete waste of money as far as I am concerned although it has been a rave since vapefest.

The LR atty on the other hand, that is well worth the $12. I ordered 5 the first time and jusr received another 10 today. That's the only way to keep shipping cost down. All my order are usually between $100-150.

The LR atty's resistance is 1.5 Ohm, when compared to a stock 510 (not the knock offs) at 2.5 Ohms. This permits you to vape on a 3.7V device like if you were vaping on a 5-6V device. The caveat, you need a high draining battery 440mAh or better.

Although you will kill your battery sooner, because of the vapour production you are taking 2-3 second hits vice 5-7. On an eGo battery you go from 6-6.5 hours down to about 4. (heavy vaping) Not bad considering you have a HV device for $12.

Pretty cheap investment for a HV device. These attys are not to be used above 3.7V.

Some folks are reposting failures etc... after 3-7 days. I have been using mine for 1.5 weeks, and vapes like a champ. Mind you some folks go through attys like underwear, some is juice related, other IMHO the vaper. I only lost one atty since I started vaping, that because I fried it becasue the switch got stuck in the on position unknowingly.

Thanks Switched. The decrease in battery life probably won't affect me too much since I'm a casual vaper anyway. I like that it's a quicker vape.. I find having to haul on the regular ones for 7-8 seconds just to get a decent hit is pretty annoying sometimes.

So shipping is $5 not $7? That's a little better... does that mean they do use the small flat rate Priority box?

no shipping is $7 flat with nhaler unfortunately. This is one reason that the only time I order from them is if I am ordering something that you can only get on their site.

If you order a drip tip and a low ohm atty AND you put in their coupon code, it will come to 25 dollars.

from totally wicked when you buy the battery, cone, and charger, AND enter there coupon code it will come to around 40 dollars.

25+40 = 65

Sorry if I was confusing in the video but I was just going off the website.

I just did my first box mod today 14500 3.7V @ 900 mAh. The next one this week will be using 2 batts in parallel for 3.7V @ 1800 mAh. At the rule of thumb rate of 1hr/100 mAh (with a regular 510) I will be in vape heaven. I figure I can get a solid 8hrs out of that set up (parallel) :D

OK all kidding aside. I made the box mod to prolonge my eGo battery, they are $30 a pop, here in Canada. Compared to $4.75 for a 14500. It's a no brainer.

The LR was purchased for my fixes vice general vaping. I used to drip with my morning coffee, this allows me to vape vice drip.

Yeah, those 2-3 sec hits are bliss, aren't they?

Switched,

If you're looking for long lasting 3.7v, rather than use 2 14500's have you considered using 1 18650? You'd get 2400-3000mAh (instead of 1800 with the 14500's) and it'd only require one battery. Which means it's easier to carry/charge 1 extra instead of 2.

Obviously the box would be slightly longer and thicker but not as wide. Just a thought.

I hear you good buddy and you are absolutely right. These mods were done relatively cheap, keep various batteries to a minimum, and the 14500 is the size of a AA batt. The boxes are for 2 and 3 AA batts respectively.

This is to tide me over until the Chameleon is back in stock. I love vaping and I am fine 90% of the time, but there is a 10% that only has one cure 3,7V high vapour or an HV device.

A couple of weeks ago I had a terrible psychological trigger that I wanted to taste an analog. I fought it, it wouldn't go away, no matter how much I vaped. Being a DIY, I mix up 1ml of fix me up juice. The worst tasting tobacco juice I could concoct at 25mg. Two hits and the trigger went away, and hasn't returned. It knows better, I still have the backy liquid handy though.
