How to make a Gecko Tin Box Mod

My take on the smint mod that takes a single 18650:

Materials used:

Steps:

1. Punch hole on the top (for ego connector) and side (for switch). I did not have a drill so I used pliers..yes pliers. haha

2. Prepare the wires for the switch.

3. Insulate the positive connection of the battery:

5. Assemble with wires sticking out of switch hole:

6. Solder switch connections and push switch in hole. I wrap the connection points in electrical tape just to be safe:

You're done with a very simple mod.

Edit: forgot to add that I cut a piece of foam that fills up half the cavity to support the battery.

mind if i ask a question?
this smint box not really fit my samsung 18650 battery's diameter..
it force me to largen it a bit by pliers,now its fit BUT the cap (battery door or w/e lol) is now loose and need me to use rubber rings,it got awful look now.. :/
how u make the battery fits well without give an issue to the cap?
im wondering because i tried on 3 box and all end with same result..

I usd pliers to lightly flatten one third of the opening's lip so that the battery would fit. Make sure you avoid the part where the lid needs to latch on.

Do not crimp the whole opening so that the lid still latches on properly.
