I recently received a question from a customer who wanted to know how to open a Geek Bar Pulse. While it's generally not recommended to open disposable vapes due to safety and design considerations, I thought I'd reach out for some community advice.

Here are the channels I suggested they try first:

• Tools Needed:​

  • Small flathead screwdriver
  • Pliers
  • Gloves (for safety)
  • Safety glasses (optional)

• Steps:​

  1. Wear Protective Gear:
     • Wear gloves to protect your hands from any sharp edges or residual e-liquid.
     • Safety glasses are recommended to protect your eyes from any potential splashes or debris.
  2. Identify the Mouthpiece:
     • Locate the mouthpiece at one end of the disposable vape. It is usually secured with friction or a small amount of adhesive.
  3. Pry Open the Mouthpiece:
     • Using a small flathead screwdriver, gently pry around the base of the mouthpiece.
     • Work your way around carefully until the mouthpiece starts to lift off. Be gentle to avoid breaking the plastic.
  4. Remove the Internal Components:
     • Once the mouthpiece is removed, you should see a rubber or silicone seal. Remove this seal using the screwdriver or pliers.
     • Inside, you'll find the cotton wick soaked with e-liquid and the coil. The battery and the electronic components are typically located below these.
  5. Remove the Battery:
     • Carefully pull out the cotton and coil to expose the battery.
     • Use pliers to carefully disconnect the battery from any wiring. Be cautious, as batteries can be hazardous if mishandled.

I've had the same issue and ended up getting a refillable one instead. I grabbed it from an online headshop that had better options for long-term use. Way easier than dealing with cracked cases or glued parts.
