I've been using a nemesis mod for half a year now. Recently changed the spring firing system to magnetic

About a week ago I was out doing my stuffs, keeping the vape in my pocket. Then all of a sudden I felt a very hot feeling coming from my pocket. Quickly pulled my vape, which by then was almost too hot to touch. Turns out the screw-based anti-accidental-fire was loose, and the vape was firing happily in my pocket so much so that the cotton and coils were charcoal black.

Really lucky man. Could have been much worse, scorch my skin, burn my jeans, worse still battery explode. U guys have any good way of carrying it around without risk of accidental discharge?

Nemesis is one of the safest mod even with a change to magnets, the locking ring once lock stay as it is. It might be accidentally, locked without realizing it is half locked. Safety wise, like many had mentioned removed the battery or tank. Mech mod easiest to assemble it back.

Also to take note, never keep your mod in the car unattended whether you locked it or turn off. Our local weather and the heat within the car might damage the mod or cause the chip to short out. There has been reported cases

Personally I left a mod unattended in my car. It was a clone DNA 30, due to rushing off for meeting I slide it into the box compartment and didn't realize the fire button was depressed and when I came back my car filled with vapor and burning smell quickly removed and was lucky that the battery in the mod was only 1/4 and chip has safely cutoff but still it fire off burning off my coil. It was so hot that my name card holder melted

From there on even electronic chip or mech I had never leave it unattended

Removed battery or turn off the unit or even remove the tank for personal safety

As for ego one, even it is turn off if you place it in your pocket, it might also accidentally turn on again, based on experience

Also don't ever keep your battery raw into your pockets with keys. It will short. Always keep unused battery in a box
