How to see subscribed forums?

I have subscribed to 2 forums but they aren't listed in my subscriptions (only threads). The frustration is that they occasionally are listed when I first go to my profile, but then they go away. I need to refind them every time I want to check them - that is not a hardship but I felt sure there should be a way to list the forums I subscribe to but I can't find the mechanism/process. Can you tell me what I'm missing?

Nevermind - I found the trick, click settings to see subscribed forums. They aren't listed in profile/subscriptions. And if you click view subscriptions in settings they go away and I haven't found a way to make them come back without clicking settings again. This seems a bit awkward but it works.

They will disappear if there aren't any new posts in them, since you last viewed the threads. To see all of your subscribed threads, click on "view all subscribed threads", which is located under the last visible subscribed thread.

Thanks for your reply. That would work for subscribed threads but not for subscribed forums.
