Less vapor, odd off funky or burnt taste, leaking, reduced wicking ability, resistance changing greatly, missing or damaged o ring, coil no longer works.

Just me, when someone says coil I think of something that needs to be mounted in an rba & wicked to function. A coil is just a coil.
Replacement heads contain coil(s) wicking material, insulators, o rings in an assembly, ready to prime, screw in base & vape.

Thanks. I guess I meant to say replacement head, or atomizer?

That's basically it. The big things will be either a burnt taste (meaning the cotton is almost gone) or you're getting less vapor (and you find you need to start turning the power up to get the same thing - which might cause the cotton to start burning).
Thanks, Does wick that's visible through holes usually look dark/darker when it's going bad?
