In search of some kind of protectant material for my SB, I found this at walmart for around $3.
This is a rubberized grip that is designed for tennis rackets. It just slipped over my SB, no problems.
I did cut it into two pieces though. One for the full tube, and one for half. I think it comes in purple too....
It is actually really thinner then the picture makes it appear. It is maybe 1-2mm in thickness. It has a great tacky, yet smooth feel. The great thing is that its easily removable! Oh and ZERO problems with the button, it still works with the grip on!
**I do want to point out that you should make sure that the SB is completly clean before slipping the grip on, if not, you could trap dirt inside, possible scratching the finish.**
I guess you can call it the TGM (tennis grip mod) lol.
I really wanted to try the thin grips for golf clubs, but no one had any in my area....
