Heya kind of stupid question but how do you apply & use a drip shield? I have a simple thin metal dripping atty that leaks if I put a fraction too much liquid (like if I put in 2 moderate size drops but if I put in a moderately sized drop &a slightly larger moderate drop I'll get it leaking all over the place & my hands gets covered in e-juices).

I think its a "genuine joyetech 510 atomizer or at least looks like it... Unfortunately when I first bought this atty the staff never bothered to tell me the brand or name. Its definitely metal, maybe brass or bronze. Its a short (just a bit longer then 1") & narrow (about 9mm). It has a yellow/gold colored metal band 3mm above the threading at the base & the threading is the same color as the band. From the band to the top it is all black except inside the top of the atty which is the same gold/yellow color as the treads & band. If you take the drip tip off, you'ld see it has 3 holes.

The drip shield is a smoketech metal drip shield in black & the device is one of either ego-c, ego-c twist or ego-V LCD...

So thanks for your help in advance.

The drip shield has o rings on the inside .Screw your atty on to device and slip the shield over it .Make sure the airholes on shield are at the top.It will make it so if you over drip the excess juice will be sucked into the airholes of the atty to make sure you dont waste it .It will also tighten the draw of the atty.Hope this helps :)

Great, thank you all... I've finally figured out how to put the stupid thing on & I'm happy to announce that my hands are no longer covered on juice, "its a good thing"...

Btw are there drip shields that works with the IGo-W or L (if I can't get the right one)? Or does the IGo not need one?

In my experience the igo-l doesn't really need one. The deck is pretty large and my cap fits on tight enough that the only way liquid would leak out is through the air hole - but I'd have to completely flood it to do that.

I do use a sealed 510 to 510 connector with it though - but I use that with all my dripping attys for a bit of extra protection.
