So I picked up 2 drip shields recently and popped them over my atty on my kGo and eGo batteries. They fit but... the drip tips don't now. Well, at least the ones that are wider won't fit since the drip shield extends over the atomizer by like 2cm or so. They work fine if I use one of the little black drip tips with the tiny hole.

Anyways, I know I can get some 510 adapters so that I can use these shields, but I see that there are 510 to 510 adapters as well as 510 to eGo adapters. What is the difference and which one do I need? Do the 510 to eGo ones cover up the thread between the battery and drip shield? Also, I find that the draw is very tight using a drip shield. Is there some way to improve the air flow? And is the little hole on the drip shield suppose to be closer to the mouthpiece or battery? Thanks all!

I would get the 510 to 510 shorty adapter. The bottom O-ring on the drip shield should go below the atomizer to adapter connection. This should put the top of the atomizer almost flush with the drip shield, allowing any 510 drip tip to be used. When I got my first drip shield, empire mods included one for free, and I am glad they did. Drip shields to tighten up the draw, and I am not sure if there is a way around that or not. I never found it to be too tight, but I only drip occasionally. The hole should be on the drip tip side of the atomizer.
