How to wick 70-100% VG juices

I honestly get the cotton as 'primed' as possible, then twist the shorter side until I get it small enough to fit through the coil.. When possible ESPECIALLY if there is something dividing the juice well, I do my best to use one continuous sheet of cotton rather than have 2 through the coils then two in the well. I also take full sheets, and cut them in half length-wise to form two longer, skinnier "wicks." This is if course if the single sheet through both isn't possible..
I like to do one continuous so that just in case something has been bumped or tampered- it will keep (generally) the same amount of cotton in both (as long as you don't let it straight dry.)

What kind of coils? what kind of juice? mouth to lung?

I use unrolled cotton balls for my wicks. I pinch off a bit roll it lightly, into a cylinder, form a point in one end, poke and pull through coil, center, poke ends into juice well. That is the proceedure I use for my Kayfuns and Drippers. Only difference is length of the wick.

What makes you assume the juice or wick is the problem? What is your definition of a "Great" vape? The COIL and how much power it is using and how much heat it is generating has much more to do about flavor, than how you absorb the juice. Or even the juice, for that matter.
I disagree I think the wick is just as important as those other two factors. Too little wick and you can get flooding and all sorts of other issues. Too much wick and you get a restrictive hot vape with low vp. It very much matters how much you use: what material and how you shape it.
