First off let me say that i was not mixing DIY, which i am counting myself lucky, and for those bean counters that want to know it was 18mg of JC Red bull but.....
I was working on some vivi nova tanks and something else which i will be doing a review on shortly and some hidden tricks i have found, and yes i was working with swapping juice around with a syringe, and the bottles. Also i have a very small screw driver that i use in my vape equipment for little things that call for it.
Anytime i work with juice it is usually with my bare hands (again i do not do DIY things) i wash them with a good anti bacterial soap. There was one small pre-caution i did not foresee this time...minute droplets of juice could still be on the screw driver head that i use.
So here i was not wearing glasses when i picked up the screw driver and dead center in the left eye i got the juice. For those of you that ever had soap in your eye, or that burning sensation in the eye from chopping onions? this is nothing.
For those wondering, it is like getting pure lemon juice and a packet of salt poured into your eye. When this happened yes i applied a clean washcloth to get what i could then flushed my eye with water. Right now it is red and puffy, but that will go down.
See? Doing things like this so as the n00b does not have to find out
For those that maybe do not know, the eye has a incredible absorption rate, much quicker then your stomach, or even your lungs to get air into your lungs. That is why those who do the DIY will tell you to make sure you wear safety glasses, yet on the same token if you are going to swap juices i now know it does not hurt to wear them
