First off let me say that i was not mixing DIY, which i am counting myself lucky, and for those bean counters that want to know it was 18mg of JC Red bull but.....

I was working on some vivi nova tanks and something else which i will be doing a review on shortly and some hidden tricks i have found, and yes i was working with swapping juice around with a syringe, and the bottles. Also i have a very small screw driver that i use in my vape equipment for little things that call for it.

Anytime i work with juice it is usually with my bare hands (again i do not do DIY things) i wash them with a good anti bacterial soap. There was one small pre-caution i did not foresee this time...minute droplets of juice could still be on the screw driver head that i use.

So here i was not wearing glasses when i picked up the screw driver and dead center in the left eye i got the juice. For those of you that ever had soap in your eye, or that burning sensation in the eye from chopping onions? this is nothing.

For those wondering, it is like getting pure lemon juice and a packet of salt poured into your eye. When this happened yes i applied a clean washcloth to get what i could then flushed my eye with water. Right now it is red and puffy, but that will go down.

See? Doing things like this so as the n00b does not have to find out :D

For those that maybe do not know, the eye has a incredible absorption rate, much quicker then your stomach, or even your lungs to get air into your lungs. That is why those who do the DIY will tell you to make sure you wear safety glasses, yet on the same token if you are going to swap juices i now know it does not hurt to wear them ;)

eye toke!!!!!!

no joke! I can tell you that it feels worse then getting cigarette smoke in the eye WOOF! I am rather P.O'ed at myself for the amount of noobie mistakes i am making.....it is unreal, and sadly it is all things i should know better about as i have done them time and time again with no problems.

though i can say that on the bolt the vivi nova tank maybe lacking, with a small modification of something i am using this very second, i have to say the want for VV's is getting thrown out the window :D

I got cayenne pepper in my eye the other day. It burned like crazy. As soon as it happened, I put my head in the sink, turned the water on full blast and hosed down my eyeball. It didn't help. It continued to burn intensely for about 10 minutes until it finally started to mellow out. It took another 10 minutes for it to stop burning all together.

Sounds like your ejuice experiment was similar. :(

That sounds about right, though i can look back and laugh and say this is has been of of my "duh" moments, very similar to when i decided that i would vape jugheads JS3 on a SR atomizer set to 5.5V.....

The burning part of cayenne pepper isn't really water soluble. I've heard that putting bread up to your eye before rinsing will soak up the hot oils and reduce the burning.

I don't know if this works with nic juice, though. :p

I can so see this:

(hunny bunny) Do i even want to know why you have the loaf of french bread pressed to your eye? Is this a Canadian thing?

(me) No, i got (imagine long strings of swears here) juice in my (more swears) eye, and i am soaking it out

(hunny bunny) you do know they have this new invention called water?

(me) in super intended Chambers voice Qcaj!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is a better way.....it is called not doing it to begin with :D :D

I have to clean out my pizza ovens every day when they are at 530 degrees, on more than one occasion I have had 530 degree pieces of carbon fly out and into my eyeball....you can hear them sizzle....after that a little juice in the eye is a cake walk :)

I thought when hot boiling grease and frying butter (many separate occasions) hitting the same left eye was as worse as it could get....then again in the past i thought i had a incredible high thresh hold to pain (for a guy) that has happened in the past........i was wrong in both occassions

"don't snort your juice" ..... classic

Haha I've "snorted" juice. Sniffing delicious new juice.... Give bottle slight squonk... Hahaha

Bit of a side note, I remember reading somewhere (some sort of NRT package/instructions) that you should wash your hands with plain water if you get nic on them. Soap evidently dilates pores and speeds up nic absorption. I still rinse well with plain water then soap.

Juice in the eye.... Not fun!
