Well hellooooo fellow Texans! LOL

I'm in rural Texas - about an hour north(ish) of Fort Worth. I commute to FW for my day job, and lived there for many years, so in a way FW is still my home. But I've always been a country girl at heart so I was delighted to finally get back in the sticks! :)

Yup I've been lurking a LOT in the DIY forum. There are SO many places selling flavors, and I am a very picky taster, so I did a lot of homework and TFA ended up as one of my top few choices.

Hubby started vaping about the same time I did. We've already adopted roles - he researches, buys, and maintains the hardware. I learn to make the juice. He's more of a Facebook person tho, so I don't know if he'll end up joining here or not. I'm not a big FB fan, but I love forums.

I've spent the last 2 weeks or so just trying to figure out what to order to get started. I get the general idea, and I just ordered some starter supplies and flavors which I hope will be here next week. But the recipes - wow. Sooooo many recipes! And I wanted to order the right flavors to actually make something vapable on my first try, instead of just picking some willy-nilly. I still didn't nail down any specific recipes, but after reading tons of them, and learning what tastes I like, I just ordered some basic flavors I think I can start with.

Thanks again for the warm welcome guys!

LOL... yeah, there are just sooooo many possibilities with DIY... Bill has a great blog post about good starting flavors to add to your first order. As well as mixing equipment and what-not... Sounds like you and the Hubby have a good system set-up! Not sure where your tastes lie, but the Peaches-N-Cream recipe in my blog is my favorite so far... I just ordered 16oz bottles of those flavors, so I'm probably set for the next year or two at least... Wizard Labs is a good place to get started. They sell the TFA flavors in 8mL vials, perfect for deciding which flavors you like... their nic and vg are also good. If you want larger quantities of flavors, you can go straight to TFA's website... if you apply for the wholesale level (auto approval with no minimum purchase) you can get larger bottles...
Good luck, Mamma... and let us know if ya need help with anything!
