I got my first e-cig from cignot.com yesterday. After switching to vaping I had one analog for comparison (Parliment Light), and as far as throat hit, vapor production there is no difference.

My kit came with Marlb High - and I noticed two differences. The flavor is slightly tobacco-ish, more woody and remeniscent of a cigarette - but not a duplication. I think that the flavor will change as my taste returns as I continue vaping.

The other difference is, the strength. Holy crap! These things are strong. I needed between 10-15 draws on an analog to get my nic fix. With the e-cig I need 4-5 draws - max.

I need to thank DonDaBoomVape for his wonderful guide to vaping.

I read his guide in its entirety several times.

And I'm very enthusiastic to discard cigarettes, take up vaping, join this wonderful community at ECF, and spread the word to all my (former) fellow smokers.

Thanks all.

Welcome to the forum!

Great! You got a good one, imho.

Count on it. Mine woke up at 3 1/2 weeks but didn't realize it until about a week later.

The other difference is, the strength. Holy crap! These things are strong. I needed between 10-15 draws on an analog to get my nic fix. With the e-cig I need 4-5 draws - max.

That's good. Sometimes it's just the opposite.

I need to thank DonDaBoomVape for his wonderful guide to vaping.

Continued kudos to Don for the work he did there. What a resource!

And I'm very enthusiastic to discard cigarettes, take up vaping, join this wonderful community at ECF, and spread the word to all my (former) fellow smokers.

Spread the word. And again, welcome aboard.

Welcome Aboard.

You've gotten off to a great start already and it's good to hear that you've done your homework and purchased a good unit to start with. If you've already quit smoking analogs then get your 15 posts in so you can start your own counter in your signature to brag about the fact that you quit smoking.

Keep vaping!
