Hey gang been a lurker for a while now, just thought I would let myself be known. Great site for info and general vaping knowledge, a credit to the practice and hobby.
Just started into the hobby side myself. Started with a Vamo v5 that is already trashed. SVD coming from fasttech 10 days waiting now. I always thought it was about the attys until my spinner went into the water and a friend let me use his Evic, now I am a convert. Vamo was nice for about 2 days until a drop from less than a foot took out the oled, popped the top and seen the worst soldering job on a board that should never have passed qc. Burn hole near the circuit and scorch marks at the connections just made me wish I could buy American made. Eventually I'll get there when I go flat mech mod, but for now I want the ease of something keeping my face intact.
House atty is a Phoenix v10 that I mostly single coil at around 1.2-1.5 ohm and for travel I love my Naughty with rebuilt micro 1.5-1.8 cotton wicked but with using 30 ga kanthal, I use a bit more cotton to make up for the lesser wraps so my flavor isn't there as I know it could be.
Going to keep at it and post what I learn and maybe a B&M will open closer to me and I can get better supplies and do some exploring.
