i have read a lot of stuff but i need to know the best way to clean i usally clean with alchol and never had any problems tell now and i cleaned 3 attys and now they dont produce very well so i thinki would like to try something a lil different i use a 801 and i drip.. i would like to hear some proven suggestions

One can overdo any 'bath' by keeping the atomizers in too long where either the wicking/threads in a 510 gets too soaked and out of place or one doesn't dry things out thoroughly enough. And you need to 'reprime' after cleaning by dropping 2 or 3 drops on the atty without flooding it. It also might take some huffing - as if you're trying to keep fire on a pipe or cigar to kick start the atty after cleaning.

One other thing - you just mention 'alcohol,' but imo, there's only a few good alcohols for cleaning - 190 proof everclear or 151 clear, unflavored, uncolored, preferably charcoal filtered Vodka - Galen's is good. And I only soak for 10 minutes unless that doesn't work and then 1/2 hour tops, blowing out three ways - from cart end, from batt end and from cart end covering the batt hole in order to get the intakes. (the last not possible on all styles of attys). And then let dry and reprime with ejuice before starting up. Rubbing and isopropal alcohol are toxic and can leave film.
