As the saying goes, "It's not the heat. It's the humidity," at least around here lately. With humidity 80-90% it's been miserable, but it hasn't even hit 90.

You were in MN during the summer? Did you miss out on the winter?
Oh, no. I was in and out at all seasons. :)

Did you find Minnesota's winters invigorating?

My gosh, I just realized, it's probably a bad idea to use a metal drip tip here in the winter. At 20 below, it would probably be the equivalent of sticking your tongue on the jungle gym (not that I even did that).

I think invigorating is a good word, yes. Not quite a winter in Prudhoe Bay, but coolish, definitely.

I'll pass on the Lutefisk, but I'll take some lefsa if you've got some.

I am Norwegian and when I moved to this area of Pennsylvania about 20 years ago, I would talk about our Family tradition of eating lefsa and the people in this area have never heard of it lol........ They really thought it was odd when I told them what it's main ingredient was, "potatoes"......I love my fish to but the idea of soaking my fish in acid is a bit much for even me lol.

My background is mostly German, and my grandmother actually made sauerkraut. If you're not aware, you put cabbage & salt in a large piece of crockery and wait for it to ferment, scraping the scum off the top periodically. That'll give lutefisk a run for its money.

I like lefsa with cinnamon sugar. It's one of the best things you can do with a potato.

90% hunidity and 90+ degrees.. Glad i'm not there..... Here we whine and cry and melt into puddles when the humidity tops 30%.

Maybe, you need to adjust your vape for summer vaping. IDK, Maybe close up the airflow a bit to reduce the water from the air, thus reducing vaporization temp and not diluting flavor so much????

I just looked up Prudhoe Bay. Brrrrr, even by MN standards. That's the kinda weather makes your nose hairs freeze together.
Did a winter up that way once, when I was younger and considerably more stupid. It was chilly. And dark, too; they're not kidding about that 3 months of night thing. Fortunately I didn't lose anything up there, so I don't have to go back and look for it.

How ironic........ You're not going to believe this but this area of PA that I moved to is 100% German..... My Wife's family is 100% German and they taught me how to make homemade sauerkraut. So each year we raise tons of cabbage and stomp it in large stone crocks, add salt, let it ferment and then can it. It's way better tasting than store bought kraut but the process of fermenting it does tend to look a bit gross.

i have noticed changes in juice here in Minnesota as the
weather changes.some times there will be 3 or 4 different weather fronts per week.
when the humidity is 30% and temps between 60 to 80 F e-juice can absorb as much as
8.xx to 9.xx % water naturally. i am not sure of the rate of absorption.

I don't know about where you are in MN, but here in the Twin Cities, we've been practically breathing steam anyway -- humidity over 90 percent. I switched back to peppermint at 7W. I pretend it's cooling me down.

I'll pass on the Lutefisk, but I'll take some lefsa if you've got some.

Me too! Stuff is really bad.
Lefsa is great. Seems we only make it around xmas though.
    I'm in the TC too.
And I cannot stand how humid this summer has been. Someone just told me is the second most mild on record? For heat maybe? Too humid.
I switched to blackberry and apple and it has been a nice summer flavor.
(Last night I mixed up 750ml of hazelnut donut cream, after a long steep i think it may be a new favorite)

I would pass on that trip.
Cold is nice, but freezing is miserable.

Heat seems to lower vapor production as well. Where I use to live we often had 115°f or higher temps during the summer and trying to produce any cloud was a challenge in that heat and that was super dry heat of the desert. Walk into an A/C controlled building and the vapor cloud would return. I don't recall what temp it started to really show up, maybe about 95°f

I had a major problem, vaping at the beach for a week. What I figured was the wick was staying wet from the humidity and then didn't wick the juice properly. I'm not 100% on that being the problem, but when I returned home all went back to normal!

I know if my tanks are left in the car and it is hot in there the juice thins out and leaks past the wicks nd floods big time.

A tank at the beach with the high temps mite wick differently. Drippers are a different story.

I was just remembering how easy my breath vaporized last winter outdoors with the cold

temps and that's without a battery or coil or wick--hahhahhah--------the temp around mod

mite have something to do with the amount of vapor produced--just sayin....

When I am outdoors at 0 degrees my breath vaporizes and when coming back into

warmer temps my breath stops vaporizing.

I didn't know that then. And the money was obscene :)

Ha! It would have to be right?
I worked highways in the badlands for a year and a half (poor pay) and while it was really nice scenery, high temps and hot pavement kinda melt away your will to live.
    Sigh.... I need someplace moderate.
