I recently bought a mod and batteries for 6v and 7.4v vaping. It came with 2 5ohm attys that were kinda poor quality so I'm looking for new ones. I firstly would like to know if 5ohm is safe at 7.4v. The first of the 2 attys that came with my mod blew in the first day on 7.4v so I stashed those batteries away figuring they were too high voltage for just about anything then switched to 6v. I've been using the other atty on 6v for about a month now and it still works probably because I only use it occasionally. What is a good brand of HV attys for a reasonable price? where can I find them? does anyone know where i can get a dripping atty for HV? Is 5ohm a good choice for 6v or 7.4v or should I try something different? Thanks in advance for a response.

Keep the atty wet.....all the time, especially at high wattage. Do not dry burn attys ever, especially at high wattage. Mostly you want to try to stay between 9 and 13 watts. Not only is higher wattage hard on your equipment, most juices will taste like crap at wattage higher than 13. Wattage is calculated as voltage squared divided by resistance or (V*V)/ohms. Follow these guidelines and you'll be fine.
