I am in training to be an HVAC-R Tech. I'm an unemployed Flooring Instalation Manager, getting free training through the WIA Workforce Investment Act (anyone else in WIA?)

I wanted to know if anyone here works in HVAC-R field?
and How they like it?

I'm going for my Associate's degree in HVAC-R now, It seems like a pretty good field to get into. At least they're always in demand here.

I have a nephew up in the Sacramento area who does HVAC. He makes a good living and likes the work.

And a good friend does HVAC maintenance at a huge hi-rise in LA, he makes a VERY good living, he's been with them for at least 15 years and sits in front of a computer for most of his work.
