I hate to say this, BUT it is a design flaw if you can attach a 510 threaded topper onto a hybrid mod IMO.
I'm not saying the hybrid is a bad concept at all. I'm just saying we should not be able to attach toppers that were not made for them. So it's not the hybrid that's at fault, it's the top caps that use the 510 thread pattern.
It's simply ludicrous to expect the general public to have the knowledge base necessary to use them safely. The simple solution is to require a different (other than 510) thread pattern.
For the most part, we here on ecf are not the general public.
