I ran into a problem that I need to share with you guys so you can prevent future troubles. PLEASE read because I have searched the web up and down and I haven't found anything similar.

I recently purchased my first limitless mod, its a beautiful piece and easily my favorite right away. I love it, I love the way it feels and its an all around well designed mod. When I purchased I opted for the magnet upgrade on a brass tube with a dark wood sleeve. It looks beautiful. I used it for about a week and then I ran into some serious battery problems. I was getting hot button after two or three rips. I couldn't find any information on this on the web. It seemed like I was the only one who ran into this problem. I put a post up on a facebook group asking if anyone else had the same problem. I got a response from another vaper informing me my battery was no good and to contact Vaporhub and get it replaced. I let the vendor know what was going on so they would be informed on the problem. A well experienced vaper advised me to switch batteries because he had a similar problem. I tried several RDA's, different batteries, different builds and went out of my mind hunting down the problem. I even bought a second limitless in aluminum and I still had the same problem. I checked every possible option you could imagine.

Today I went back to the same shop and purchased two batteries that my friend had advised me to use, yellow lg's. Now here is the strange thing I couldn't figure out, sometimes the button would be piping hot and the next day I was fine. Using the same batteries, same build, same RDA! I was loosing my mind on this guys. Well tonight I was using the batteries that my friend had advised me against using (MXJO's) and everything was fine. Then I dripped and two hits after my button was insanely hot again. I disassembled my mod and took a look at everything. While doing this I went to swap my battery out I noticed there was juice on my battery dripping into the cells. I took the LG my friend recommended and the MXJO and looked at them side by side (See my pictures). The MXJO has more of the cells exposed than the LG battery. I solved the problem, because Limitless mods are hybrid with vent holes where the 510 post mounts, when I dripped and got messy with it the juice was getting into my battery. This right hear was causing my hot button issues and I had figured it out. I took another battery that was fresh and juice free and dripped on it like a drunk. Before I dripped no problem, right after I slobbered my cotton I had hot button. Guys please watch out for this, I don't know how dangerous this can be or what the long term effects are on the cells but use caution. I hope my post here will save someone some aggravation and if there are any hybrid mech mod designers I would advise slightly slanting your vent wells.

Again I hope that this will help.

Also want to give a shout out to my local vape shop you guys are awesome. Thank you so much for all of your understanding and guidance. Vape on!
