When you order a complete set from IBT, it will come with a tank tool (brilliant), plus the tank comes in a small plastic container, in a size similar to a film canister (I'm dating myself, I know). Anyhoo, the canister the tank comes in is called a "thingy" - and it can be used in a very simple way to prime a new carto....

You aren't dating yourself to me. I have a Slap Yo' Momma from Big Daddy Vapor, who invented them. The others all came later. I haven't tried the ones like IBTanked sells, but they are longer and I think the shorter ones are easier. I have also fiddled with my thingy. I don't have the patience to fiddle with the thingy long enough for it to work and my wrist gets tired. I can do it faster upside down with a condom.

It is ridiculously easy, isn't it? I couldn't believe no one seemed to have done it before. I've seen a guy do it carto to carto, but that only works with flangeless cartos, which I rarely use. It's the same with how I learned to fill them. All the instructions were for flangeless cartos, so I had to do something else.

Everything takes practice. So what if you screw it up a few times? Who will know? I was going for speed in the video, but there is a step-by-step pictorial in my blogs so you don't have to watch the video again.

My buying freeze is being lifted now...must get an IBtanked! I don't know why everyone doesn't describe things this way? The KISS Method (keep it simple stupid) works every time and would aliviate headaches and confusion for newer vapors like me!! Bad keeps it pretty simple too.
