Buying a pv was a spur of the moment decision for me. I honestly thought I would give it my best shot, but I would probably go back to analogs. I had a half of a pack of cigs when I got my blu, and it took me a week to smoke them all (mainly smoked them because I paid for them). By the time I got to the last couple I couldn't even smoke a hole cig. They just got to where they seemed nasty. I haven't had a cigarette since I ran out of that pack almost a month ago. I am seriously amazed. I thought I would never quit.

Haha when I got my first PV I had just purchased three new packs of Camel Filters the day before my kit arrived. Then It came, And I started puffing away, and I set the Camels In my freezer and told myself that If I really wanted to smoke, I would. No Pressure. Finally about 4 months later my husband threw them away, because I hadn't smoked a single cigarette, and he was sick of looking at them. :) Its crazy how that happens. I used to be soo paranoid about running out of smokes that I would keep a couple packs with me so there would be no chance.
I guess Now I do that with my 510 supplies.

Hi, Amanda.
I bought my PV to cut back on my smoking a bit because I couldn't afford the new taxes Spring of '09.

Hubby saw how much I enjoyed it and wanted one of his own.

I smoked 3 packs a day (I work at home) and he smoked a bit less than 2.

After about 2 months with our PVs he gave the 9 cartons (yup. 9) I had stockpiled to a co-worker.

I had gone into full blown panic attacks at the mere thought of giving up my smokes, but this was so easy.

It's been over a year for both of us. As long as I don't try to cut my nic, I'm fine. I do REALLY want a ciggy when I try to cut it down still, tho. I don't care about that. It's working and I can breathe:vapor:

Blu seems to be the way to go. I have three coworkers who bought from Blu after seeing my e-cigs. I don't use Blu, I bought some no name DSE901s and KR808s, but they all love their's and have successfully almost stopped smoking entirely using them within a couple days. I love my e-cigs, but I think for new comers I'm going to highly recommend the Blu brand to start.

Blu was my first e-cig as well. I have since switched to a KR808D-1 which is much better for me. I think Blu is good for people who are light/social smokers, but it can't keep up with a heavy vapor like me. :vapor:
