I am getting back on the vaping horse and need anyone and everyone’s input Please

Greetings fellow vaporers,
It’s me again. I first want to thank everyone for all their help and input with my situation of being new to vaping and the issues I have had. I am going to give it another shot and I need all the help I can get in regards to equipment, juice, etc.

I don’t know if I am allergic to PG, I did get a very small rash on my arm the day after I tried some no nic PG but not again after I did it again. My main issue was it was almost like just vaping air using the KR808 that I got, so a lot of people advised to get a higher volt mod or the 510.

So I need everyone’s help and input again regarding the below questions:

1. What is the best mod I should get, the Silver Bullet, the GG something, the
Chuck, etc.?
2. What adapters should I get for this device, should I use regular carts or
cartomizers?
3. Is it easy to fill carts if I go that route as the previous device I used, used
cartomizers?
4. What site is the best place to order this, of course the faster the shipping the
better but I prefer quality and site security vs. just being fast.
5. In regards to juice, where is the best place to get full VG juice? The taste isn’t
too much of a concern since I was used to the awful taste of cigarettes.
6. It’s been 2 months since I smoked analogs, so if I choose to go a nicotine route,
which Mg would be best to get, I used to smoke Marlboro Lights.

Again, sorry for the long post but wanted to try to ask all the right questions based on the ton of information I have reviewed, watched, etc.

since you've already gone two months without nicotine, i'd just stick with zero nic juice. there's no reason to start using it again.

I read your other post, and my concern is your potential PG allergy.

I doubt you have one, and hope you don't, because PG is much better for throat hit.
And I remember throat hit was an issue for you.

As far as best mod, nobody can really tell you that unless you have already figured out what you are looking for in the perfect electronic cigarette for your needs.

As far as what adapters you should get, forget about that.
Just get a 510 based mod, and all options will be available to you.
They make EVERYTHING for 510s now.

Regarding ease of refilling, it is super easy to refill cartridges and cartomizers.
Forget all about that as a criterion.

As far as VG juice, yikes, with your throat hit issue that may not be a good move.
But if PG actually is your problem (which is unlikely but not impossible) here are some choices...

I'm sure there are many more, so wait for other input from VG users.

As far as what nicotine level, anybody that tells you that shouldn't have.
Only you can find the nicotine level that works for you.
That is pretty much a truism.

But if we wanted to give you a recomendation, telling us what you used to smoke is not really helpful without knowing how much of them you used to smoke per day.

Thanks for the input, but with reading everyone's reviews, etc. and ever since I stopped it seems that there is something missing and I am just not myself. You gotta figure I have had this for 17 years and even my wife said I need something and recommended I go to the Dr. but there ain't no tellin what they would perscribe, etc. I mean nicotine worked for me all these years and I am truly done with analogs and I do believe there is so much more in cigs that attribute to the addiction.

Any other help regarding equipment, etc. I would appreciate as well as juice, etc.

I really don't think I have an allergy, I have gotten hives or small rashes plenty of times as I am allergic to almost everything outside, grass, trees, etc. and especially this time of the year the grass seed is everwhere. I would think if I am allergic that it wouldn't take 24 hours for a few small bumps to show up. I did get a little headache but it went away.

Sorry about that, I smoked a pack a day. I just didn't want to get too high of a mg and was interested in TV since I could mix and try different strengths with doublers and you can also get an 80/20 PG/VG mix.

Mainly what I was wanting to know about mods is say out of the Silver bullet, Prodigy and Chuck, which one is best or if they are basically all the same, 3.7 and 6 V.

Regarding the adapters, if I get the normal 510, then how can I use cartomizers as i thought cartomizers were only for the KR808 style?

It doesn't sound to me like a different juice or equipment will necessarily fix your problem.
There are MANY people who needs things from cigarettes other than nicotine.

Check out the smokeless subforum here.
You may find a lot of people in the same boat as you, for various reasons and needs.

And they can probably help you better than I can.

So you are saying then I shouldn't try e-cigs again? The only reason I am thinking this is because there were several others that responded to my initial post and advised that I needed a higher voltage device and that they went through the exact same thing.

Can you just advise at least about if I got a 510 version of a mod, how would I be able to use cartomizers or do they make 510 cartomizers now?

Thanks DC, but I am not really interested in snus or anything different. I mean I smoked for 17 year and I don't even know how the other stuff works and the vaping is what drew me to PV's and such since it is the same motions and similar to what I did for 17 years.

I like the box mods. Mine is a 510, but adapters are easily available. I have a pass through for my mod that allows me to use 5volts or 3.7 on the battery. I like both. You will find that it's about giving it a try. Some like LR510 attys on 3.7 vs....well u get the idea.

What I believe DC-2 is suggesting is for you to read that link and see how others who use an e-cig in combination with snus or snuff as a suppliment aid for what they were missing from cigarettes and avoiding returning to cigarettes.

It's an interesting read and a sub-forum of very knowledgeable members willing to help if your looking for it. It may not end up being something that will work for YOU (as it wasn't for me in the end), but it "is" an alternative means that could just be up your ally.

Remember, there's never "too" much information to investigate something your trying to overcome, there's only information that may or may not work for your particular situation.
