It may be too high at 36mg. You may be reacting to the nicotine level and getting "nic sick." Are you drinking enough water? This may be making you sick, too. Maybe try some 24 mg or even lower to see if that helps. IMHO, 36 mg is very high.
People vape 36mg all the time. DO NOT make it sound like that is too high, because it isn't. I started at that level and I'm now down to 16mg. But I really get tired of the low nic level vapers making it seem like those who vape higher levels must have some problem. Let's not act, like those who quite smoking "cold turkey", and then look down at anyone who can't do it that way. Everyone has different systems and different make-ups and different needs.

36 is pretty strong,. I used it for a bit and i was getting a bit fuzzy from it. I feel like your juice or ecig are not up to par but no info so I can't be sure. There is withdrawal for most people I've known and a transition period where vaping becomes more pleasant with use. You are quitting smoking, don't fool yourself by thinking it won't be a little frustrating at times

Where I am
When I quit smoking it was a real mind-game. I really enjoyed the vape; I was really ready to quit tobacco, but when I was vapin' away the little voice in my head would say, "you know that's not really a cigarette, right?" I was using 36mg because I rolled my own for 22 years, and would mix perique into my tobacco; sometimes I would even roll straight perique, and inhale!

Everyone's different, and the monkey on your back is different than the next persons. It could be that vaping is just not for you, but I'd be willing to bet that you just need to find the right combination of equipment and flavor. When I was just under 2 months into vaping, I was $700 in the hole, and still didn't have the right combination to satisfy me. Luckily, soon after I found this community, and they really helped me find what I needed.

Don't give up, not yet. You are addicted to some very nasty junk, and it's going to take a lot to break through to the other side, but you can do it.

I can say that It is a very different sort of nic buzz. When I started I would over nic my self. (I still do somtimes) Cigarettes seem so imediate and Vape catches up on you a few moments later.. IDK, that is my experience. I got used to it. MUCH better than cigarettes.

Good luck, hope you find your way.

Yep, I'd say that is how most of us feel as well.

Cigarettes produce that immediate nicotine rush, vaping not so much. Vaping seems to settle in over a slower duration of time, instead of instantly like cigs.

I started at 24mg and had to up it to 36mg and that helped a lot. My latest juice order I got 24mg again because I noticed that a lot of juices I wanted to try from various vendors I could only get in 24mg strength. So yes, I agree 36mg is what some people need. I can adjust to it, but damn, it has been hard going back to 24mg.

In the OP's case it does sound like they are getting to much nicotine and having other withdraws associated with smoking. Nicotine is not the only addictive substance in cigarettes. Not to mention there are things in them that make nicotine even more addictive.

I agree that 36mg "may" be too high for this individual because everyone is different. I just don't think 36mg is too high for "every" individual.

If your feeling sick then your probably getting too much nic... I would suggest lowering your nic and just chain vape thru the rough times. I chain vaped with 6mg until I didn't feel like vaping and didn't feel sick from it. If you try chain vaping at 36mg it would be asking to feel sick for most ppl. Gl Id try whatever it takes to not go back to smoking

Exactly how I feel... I've been vaping for about 2 weeks now with NO analogs for about a week and I can't believe the change. I have 18 mg Tribeca and a few other 18 mg flavors and I find myself chain vaping peach lemonade juice with .6 mg almost every 12 seconds.. Just find something you actually enjoy vaping and that you can keep puffing on to keep cigs out of your mouth... good luck man

If you're using VG try PG, if using PG try VG. Try a different company. Try WTA. Try lowering your nicotine.
You just haven't found the right combo, it's not always increasing nicotine, but sometimes it is.

My first experience with ecigs was much like yours. I quit. 3 years later I found out it was PG and I don't have the same problems with PG free.

I was a 2 pack a day smoker for 25 years and I can confirm what others are saying in this thread about physical withdrawal. About 3 weeks in I started experiencing flu-like symptoms that included fatigue, extremely sore muscles and joints, night sweats, nightmares and a general feeling of malaise.

The good news is that it will pass after a week or two and you'll feel incredible.

I attribute most of those symptoms to the 100's of other toxins in cigarettes finally leaving my body.

I have been vaping for over a month now, every week I have been increasing the strength of my e juice cause it just didn't feel enough, now I have been vaping 36mg for a week, every morning I just feel kinda sick from yesterday, like some hangover, I don't feel any pains but when I think about vaping it makes me sick, so I usually wait atleast 2 hours after waking up and then vape, today I tried a regular cigarette instead of vaping and it felt good, and the feeling I got from it was way different, I get this anxious feeling when smoking a cigarette, I don't get this from vaping, something is missing, is the nicotine different in cigarettes or what or maybe I am addicted to the tar in cigarettes or co? I sometimes feel so sick of vaping I just put a drop of e juice on fingers and then suck on them, cause I just can't stand another vape, anyway I am thinking of just going back to regular cigerettes.

1st. I wouldn't put the liquid on your fingers and then suck on them.
2nd. Read 1st.

Like many have said what PV and device are u using etc, try lowering not raising nic level.

Wow 36mg is super hardcore! I started at 18mg and i didnt feel like that was enough either. Ive been doing 24mg for quite a few months now and I'm happy. 24mg is also considered Extra strong by most places. I would say dial down the strength and get a PV that vapes at a higher voltage. I didn't read anything but the 1st post so I'm not sure what you are using but if its a cig-a-like battery thats prolly the problem. I was not satisfied at all with those. They are nice to get you started but a mod is the way to go. A brand new Vamo costs less than most start up kits and its a beast for the price.

Please dont go back to regular smokes man. I know its easier but it will kill you and be harmful to those around you. There are ways to make vaping work for you, you just need the right set up for your particular style. Stick with it man and keep posting on ECF. I can't count the number of problems I've had when i 1st started vaping but the people on this forum really helped me through it and gave me some killer advice.

good luck.

That is exactly the kind of thing that people who need the whole tobacco alkaloids (WTA) always say.

I don't get this from vaping, something is missing, is the nicotine different in cigarettes or what...
Yes, what is missing is the whole tobacco alkaloids.

Do yourself a favor and read this...

It's pretty easy to get sick tired of carting an oxygen tank around or chemo.

I believe it is getting the proper mod AND delivery device. I use 36mg e-liquid. I also use a vamo with a Smok Tech Pyrex DCT. I almost gave up once but am happy I didn't. I just fill the tank in the morning and cruise through the day and evening. I do keep a secondary EVOD on hand, with a different flavor, to break up the taste a little. Try to make it a little fun. You will persevere.

I had the same problem. I just wasn't getting what I needed from the ecigs I was using, I finally found what I needed. I switched to the bare bones ecig kit offered on myfreedomsmokes.com then started using the WTA mentioned from aromaejuice.com and I found what I needed from the ejuice. Give it a try before you quit vaping. Btw, I only have to use 18mg of the WTA ejuice!

I like Aroma e-Juice's WTA products....something about the juice "feels" like smoke, but tastes a lot better. :) I do 24 MG WTA, and it took a while for me to make the transition. When I get in the mood to chain vape I go down to 12 mg alongside a mild snus or some nasal snuff. I do find that if I chain vape 24 mg of any juice, I tend to get a bit headachy.....36 would definitely make me ill.

Keep it up, Ronny.....and as people have mentioned, the vape buzz catches up with you, as does snus or snuff. Good luck!
