Ive read the govts are losing billions/yr now because loss of tobacco sales tax,the 95% increase they are trying to impose is just a way to get back the ''losses''...we the people are finished,now you know why they have Fema prison camps ready and waiting to be filled up if we protest.I have enuff nic and flavours too last me 2 years,looks like ill be buying more before it doubles in price.

dunno if pitting e-cigs against [EDITED] in a sense vs. legal battle makes any sense at all, honestly.

[EDITED] is a very useful, safe crop. it's useful chemicals can be extracted and handled safely in pure form without precaution. they're literally impossible to die from overexposure to them. unlike nic. not only that, but realistically, it simply cannot be "legalized" on a state or local level. it's still illegal federally.

though, in a harm reduction point of view, i certainly can side with the sentiment. alcohol and tobacco should have been illegal long before [EDITED] and it's chemicals/products. though, with a quick look back at the repercussions of prohibition, it's easy to see why alcohol was re-legalized.

shame this is the world we live in, everything always comes down to money really at the end of the day. why should us smokers have a cheaper alternative that lets us live longer while they lose out on all that tax money. im f..... fed up with it, I pay £1.38 a litre of fuel because of tax, I pay £16 a litre of vodka because of tax, I pay working tax and ni. I did pay £8.60 for analogs (£5.50 odds was tax and duty fs) so why shouldnt I get one thing thats not taxed to the hills and makes the cost of living that bit easier. every government are a pack of greedy ba...... in my eyes, they dont care if im killing myself just the money but they pretend to carecto look good. lol rant over

This about sums it up rather succinctly. (Here in NJ we say, "They are freakin' politicians!", with an amphasis on "freakin'".....lol).
Simple politicians will opt for the tax money over real gains in public health every day of the week. It is the nature of the beast.
It's really a shame. E-cigs have the potential to be one of the more important developments in public health of the last century.
