I've been tobacco free for about three and a half weeks now, got a starter kit, Emax, sort of and Evod copy I think. Anyway, my coils were dying like crazy but I did a ton of reading and ordered some nichrome 34 gauge wire and got it today. Thing is, yesterday I checked the local vape store and crikey, $3.50 for one pro tank type coil. Anyway, my last one died last night so good for me I got it, but got the wire today.

I've watched many tutorials but got in a hurry and took my smallest jewelers screwdriver and wound about eight times. Even forgot to fire it up to stop the elastic business. Fed some cotton through there and put it into the tiny old bits of the old coil housing. Let me just say that I'm quite old and have very large hands (great for guitaring but rather sucky for such tiny work), but once I got the thing in and cut off the leads and put it on my ohm meter, it read very close to 3 ohms which is what I wanted! (I plan to build a Puck battery thingy and it likes 3 ohm coils).

I'm vaping on it right now and just so relieved that I can now rebuild my cheapo coils, it was so easy! I plan on building a Puck like I said for ease of battery charging and time before another charge and I'm sure I'll get a RTA pretty soon, but it was driving me nuts thinking I'd have to keep buying the crappy BCC coil replacements.

Happy camper right here and last coil lasted me till my wire showed up today and took no time at all to refurbish a coil from scratch! I can't believe I haven't had tobacco for weeks~ :):D
