OK in this thread I kind of teased you about soaking your batteries.
Mea Culpa! I thought my pink full logo'ed manual extra long batt was DOA..I was going to have to replace it and I didn't want to! It was a gift from V4L when the extra longs came out. It was the batt that first turned me on to manual bateries.
So I remembered your post and tried it. I soaked the thread end in some alcohol for a minute and then cleaned out the holes. I soaked again just to rinse out the holes and tried it. I used a condom and basicly did the same plunge as wnen refilling (remeber this is a manual..not an auto!)
Like brand new! The draw with it before was like sucking a bowling ball up through a straw. It would charge just fine, but with such a hard draw with a premium or old style carto..it was going to get trashed.(maybe framed)
